Q: Purchased many times; once they were stale and not edible. Can seller guarantee these are currently fresh?

when chocolate arrives looking whitish and tasting stale, it doesnt mean the chocolate is BAD or OLD. it means it was frozen and then thawed. this seller, in order to avoid melty orders, ships orders with an ice pack. had this issue with this seller, and when i ordered again, sent them a message asking that the order NOT be packed with an ice pack. they listened and obliged, and the order arrived fresh and delicious. feel free to contact the seller to request NO ICE PACK. if you live in a super hot climate, and/or super far away, you may want to find a way to get your chocolate from closer by. :)

No alcohol. Pig oil? Never even heard of that. Sorry, have already thrown the outside wrapper away so I cannot check for that ingredient, but I don't think so. All I know is they are DELICIOUS. I buy them for the guys at work and they eat them up so fast!

Q: Why is it saying "This item requires special handling and cannot be shipped to your selected location"?

Depending on your location and your weather, these candies are probably prone to melting. I wouldn’t try to order chocolate candy products here in Iowa, where the weather is VERY warm already (85-90 degrees). Hope this helps.
