Great hat for doing yard work. The fasteners are metal an tend to rust and stain hat. I used nail polish on the metal fasteners to try to keep sweat from oxidizing. Since my reason for the hat is protection from sun, I don't use fasteners anyway. Although, plastic fasteners would solve the rust issue.

Perfect hat for outdoor adventures. The adjustable size is great, and the chin strap keeps the hat on in windy conditions. The vents in the hat really do keep your head cool. I use it for kayaking and it's great.

THIS KEEPS MY FACE FRO GETTING SUNBURNED AND STAYS HIGH ENOUGH OFF MY HEAD THAT ITS COMFORTABLY COOL AS WELL. (KEEPS MY HEAD COOL, AND LOOKS KINDA COOL TOO)

I like the hat overall...would have given 5 stars, but the packaging caused some serious creases that I still haven't completely gotten out.

I like this hat and wear it while out on the water, and it certainly works great. Only downside is the vents on the hat and the snaps have all started to rust after just a couple times wearing it. Going to have to take extra care to dry the metal immediately after getting wet or washing.

this is supposed to be waterproof. i was caught in a downpour...i thought this would be a good test of the hat..the hat got drenched, my head still got wet..the hat absorbed the water, but did not repel it as i thought it would. i still do like the hat, tho.

I like the material it's made with. The hat kept my head cool while hiking along the South Rim of Grand Canyon during 107 degree weather.

I use my hat for working in the yard and it does the job. Nice wide rim provide good sun coverage.
