The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset: Official Collector's Edition Guide

Beautiful
So, I love game guides. ESO brought both Morrowind and Summerset DLC game guides into beautiful presentations. This game guide goes into specifics into literally everything you need to know about Summerset Isles. It has been mentioned in a couple other reviews that this guide doesn't bring new players up to speed, which is true. If you are a new player and learning about character creation, this may not be the book for you. I still recommend this so you know what you're getting into with Summerset though. What I wish happened (which is partly unrelated to this guide book) is that they continued making guide books to th future DLC's like Elsweyr, Greymore, and Blackwood as well as a guide to the main game itself. Wish they didn't stop making guides and lore books.

My husband says it's nice
My husband collects video game stuff. He said this is a really nice book but I ordered for the wrong game so my bad...I totally mixed up elder scrolls and elden ring. Don't be me. Beautiful book.

At last the legendary land of the High Elves lie before us.
The Elder Scrolls Online is one of the better MMO's out there. It has by far one of the most interesting and in depth storylines that they have faithfully followed throughout its many previous incarnations. Now with Summerset they have finally let fans go to the legendary home of the High Elves. They do not disappoint. Not only is the story rich and rewarding, but the challenges and sights alone are worth upgrading to Summerset. As for Jewelery crafting that has been a worthwhile wait to be able to make and upgrade our own jewels. Best of all you don't have to pay a monthly fee to play this game. As long as you have purchased the content you can play it with your hearts content. However I would look into premium service as I have been using it for over a year and have found it worth it. All in all this is a worthy expansion for a fantastic game.

I Miss These Physical Guides!
I always loved the ESO guides, even if we can find almost all the information and lore bits online! There’s just something about seeing the concept art, reading special lore extras, and just seeing things in physical print that always enchanted me. I’m so bummed that this was the last Chapter that the studio decided to publish! I would have purchased one of these for Elsweyr and Greymoor in a heartbeat. Please bring these back!

Excellent Guide!
This is an excellent guide for getting around Summerset in Elder Scrolls Online. It comes with a beautiful 24x24" map of the island and full access to the digital version at primagames.com (although they're going out of business soon). It has everything you'll need for Summerset including crafting, lore, locations, and more!

Lots of info, great gift for the beloved ESO nerd in your life
Bought this (and another ESO guidebook, Morrowind) for my husband, he loves them :) moreover, they don't just collect dust, he read them through upon opening and flicks through them occasionally while playing. He has the maps hung up above his PC and references them, they actually have quite a bit of useful info.

Excellent for new player
Gave well detailed descriptions of all quests in summerset, as a new player it was extremely handy for me and I would recommend it to anyone. Please note this is just summerset, no help in other areas

Great - but assumes you already know how to play the series
This really is a beautiful book, one of good quality both in the physical binding and in the information it provides. If you are already familiar with the Elder Scrolls Online games and series of DLC, then this book is for you. It shows you how to craft certain items, such as enchanted jewelry, gives you step-by-step help with all the quests introduced by the Summerfest DLC, as well as giving you a nice colour map, and lots of great art to look at.However ... I have given it only 4 stars for one reason: if you are totally new to the Elder Scrolls online series, such as I am, then this book won’t really help you get started in all the intricacies of the game, particularly with reference to how to start, and what the different classes, races and technicalities of levelling up, choosing what skills to learn, and the like. This book seems to be under the impression that you are already familiar with the ESO series. I guess that’s because the Summerfest DLC was not the start of the ESO series. However, I had never played ESO until the Summerfest DLC was released, and I purchase the collector’s edition of the game, which came with all the DLC.I have the large Skyrim guide book and that is awesome as it takes you from complete beginner to experienced adventurer, and I so wish this book did the same. Looking at the other ESO guides it seems that the Morrowind guide might have been a better one for me to get, as, looking a the “look inside” function on the relevant Amazon product page, it seems to take you up from a beginner’s level. So, all-in-all, a great book for the ESO player, but could have been a bit more beginner friendly.

Nicely presented keepsake on the Summerset chapter the ElderScrolls Online
Beautifully produced hard-backed book with high quality paper very reasonably priced for a book of this quality and size. Gives you detailed information about the places, quests, and things you will find in the DLC chapter Summerset, including some useful info on character builds and crafting. Also contains a section on the artwork in evolved in the design and production of this DLC. Unfortunately does not contain any detail on maps and quests, etc., in the earlier parts of the ESO. A separate book is available for the Morrowind chapter, but there are no books available of this kind from Prima on the original areas of Tamriel or the Murkmire DLC - though quite a lot of detailed and helpful info on the whole of ESO is available on web sites such as ESOUIwiki. Provides a relaxing and informative read during the frequent times that ESO is virtually unplayable due to the under capacity and poor performance of the online game servers (particularly the European server).

A Beautiful Addition
I love these high quality game guides. I don't even use them for the game, they're just excellent sources of lore/maps. They're rammed with useful resources for any form of tabletop gamer/writer.

Summerset
One of my favourite settings within the Elder Scrolls Online game, Summerset is presented exceptionally well within this book and a must for avid gamers of the series.
