Lake Placid Monarch Girl's Adjustable Ice Skate

We LOVE these ice skates! They are easy to put on and take off, comfortable, provide support for my kid learning to ice skate, adaptable for sizes 1-4 and cute!! I highly recommend these! My 6 year old loves them!

Just a tip for those who are frustrated with the adjustability. I may have sent them back as well if I did not work through it. Flip the pink quick flip switch to the open position. Loosen the two black screws on the underneath of the front of the skate a turn or so. Secure the rear of the skate by hooking it on to something. I put a 1/2" steel rod in a vise and hooked the blade housing on the rear of the skate. Insert your finger into a few of the front laces and pull forward. It breaks free then and the adjustability is now easy. Tighten the two black screws when finished. Highly recommended!

My kids use these for recreational/public skating. They have hockey skates as well but these are a little more comfortable for casual skating with the soft boot, and plus they look cooler for a little girl. As with most skates, they are not pre-sharpened regardless of what the description says, so make sure you get them sharpened before use. My one complaint is that the size adjustment is fairly hard. I'm a grown man who's a former athlete and still fairly strong and active and I really have to struggle to adjust the size. Luckily I only have to do that very infrequently as the kids grow so its not a huge deal. The nice part is there's a wide size adjustment range so they should last for several years.

I purchased these for my daughter and she loves them. We have only used them once but she skatedfor three hours and never once complained about her feet hurting. I like that they are easily adjustable so they should last a long time. They seem solidly built and they run smooth on the ice. You do have to have them sharpened before you use them the first time. I would definitely recommend these!

This skate is great for first set of skates. Children out grow foot wear so quickly, with these they can get more years of wear out of them. They are easy to adjust.

Increadible value for money. These skates are very well made. Perfect for a beginner skater. The outer is soft, with beautiful details. The adjustment is easy. The blades come sharpened. (Not suitable for hockey.) Skip the rental line and give your kid a better skating experience from the start.

It is so lightweight. Very easy to put them on. Easy to adjust the size. However, the size is bigger than expected. My daughter is 13.5 and she still fits on the lower size 12.

The design is very pretty, but it could be better if the bottom could be sharper.

These were a bit more expensive than the plain ones, but I'm SO glad I got them!! They're super cute and look well made and will work well for a few years being adjustable in size. Love these!!!

Product arrived on time and as described. Great skates for kids as they are adjustable & you don't ave to buy new skates every year!!! The grandkids love them as they are much more comfortable than hockey skates. They no longer complain of sore feet and they enjoy casual skates now so we can skate much longer.

With the adjustment in boot size, I'm hoping these skates will last for several winter seasons! So far our first few skates have been a great success! Recommend!

Great purchase for my girls. Older one used it for 2 years, and now is passed down to the younger one for another few more years. Hopefully it will hold up for my next girl. Great buy.

Fits perfectly for my daughter. She simply loves the skates.Looking at them closely, they are pretty well built for the price, didn't expect it at the low 35$ price.
