This applesauce is sooo good!
I love his applesauce. Its the best sauce I've ever tasted and I love the chunks in it. Instead of getting two 24 oz jars, I received four 12 oz jars which is fine. I do have to mention the price. Its awful! I have never paid $32.00 for two jars of applesauce in my life! Why so expensive?? I have no idea, which is why this purchase will not be done again ....well, in a great while! Its tasty and so fresh for sure, but not THAT good! I mean, regular applesauce in the stores cost what?.....$4 or $5? We bought it from Wal-Mart and I am sure we did t pay a huge price for it. As a matter of fact, I'm going to check the price at Wal-Mart and see if its even available there. Its good stuff, but EXPENSIVE.

Makes the best apple bread!
I have been making apple bread (just like banana bread - just substitute with chunky applesauce). It's always a big hit in our family. Can't get it in New England anymore -- don't know why. I will be making some this weekend.

Very tasty
Ever since Trader Joe’s discontinued their chunky applesauce, I’ve been looking for a substitute. I use this on pancakes instead of syrup.

Expensive, but the only game in town
Most apple sauces are thin, finely ground, and runny. We like a substantial apple sauce, coarsely ground with a few chunks thrown in. Musselman's Golden Delicious was great but has been discontinued. Meijer stores had a house brand chunky that was pretty good; also discontinued. Luck Leaf had a coarse sauce, but I can't even find the brand in stores anymore. So we sprang for this Musselman's Chunky on Amazon, and it is very good with chunks of cooked apple in a thick base and a touch of cinnamon. But, at $5.50 or more for 24 oz, it's crazy expensive. If we ever buy this again it will be for a very special occasion and served alongside truffles and caviar.
