No instructions came with my keyfob. Do i have to clear it's memory before syncing with my unit? Is so how do i do that?

Press switch SW6 once. Now quickly press the 'O' symbol on the remote once within three seconds. The remote is should now be programmed. Try the remote after five seconds. I require a new battery for my garage handset, code txv 5130022

Open the casing and find out what battery is required, I cannot tell from the product code. Purchase a new battery and replace maintaining the correct polarity.

my control box is white and the remote fob is white, will this work

I don`t know for sure. The Ellard Athena seems to be similar, if not the same as very many `generic` code it-yourself fobs, with how to do-it instructions ? I n the end, because I could not replicate the code myself, I sent the keys back. It might be useful to you if I tell you how I resolved the issue in the end. I contacted the person who had installed the door in the first place, he provided a new key that outwardly; was exactly identical to the existent key and the Ellard Athena key, it took him two minutes to open the control box, press a button on a module and match the key code. Do not do this yourself unless you are aware that mains voltages are present, ask someone in the know !

Will this work with Ellard Athena 1st gen (cream control box)?

Yeah I think it will. My one was first generation box
