ViviLux 3-in-1 Rechargeable Green Laser System for Sewing & Quilting – Adjustable Line, Crosshair, and Dot Laser Heads, Hook and Loop Tape Mount

Gave to wife for Christmas and she just put it on yesterday with a fully charged battery. Worked for a little over two hours and stopped working. Tried recharging battery with no success and now past the return window. We had no reason to believe it would stop working so we’re in no hurry putting it on till she started quilting again after the holidays. Would not recommend this with the return window so short even if it breaks. It expensive little price of equipment.

This is my second purchase of the ViviLux Green Laser system. The first experience was being sent a broken unit. The laser head had been removed from the attaching cable and base laser producing unit. Appears the initial purchaser had damaged it and returned it for a replacement. Amazon apparently only looked to make sure all the parts were returned, placing the broken laser back in stock, allowing me to become the unlucky recipient. I searched for the original manufacture, finding a contact link. Sent a message about the unit damage. The ViviLux owner responded and stated he was sending me a new laser. While Amazon also sent a replacement laser. Instead of going through with a purchase return to Amazon, I chose to return the damaged unit to the ViviLux owner for his own examination. I know by not returning the damaged unit back to Amazon in thirty days, I will be charged for the initial purchase, which is OK. Paid for one and got a free one from ViviLux. The Vivilux company is a first class company who cares about their customers!

I received the 3 in 1 laser. I could not get it to work. I charged it but the light was very dim and was unable to see it on my fabric. So I contacted the VivaLux company and the owner actually took care of my problem. He sent me a Brand new one. Whoever sells them through Amazon is not interested in whether they work or not. It’s a great laser if you buy it thru VivaLux USA. Dave will take care of you. He’s fast and reliable!

Great addition to my sewing machine.

I would give this 5 stars if the bendable wire would stay put when it’s adjusted. Once you get it where you want it, tape it down or brace it up, and then everything works fine. You just have to fuss with it a bit before you can use.

My wife is using this for quilting and likes it; she no longer needs to mark half-square-triangles but just lines up the corners which she says really saves her time. The only complaint is that it takes a little work to get it aligned and it easily brought out of alignment if bumped. I’m working on an additional support to help with this.

The idea for this is good but it is very hard to adjust it and keep it accurate while sewing. I was also bothered by the laser head being in my sight while I was sewing. Maybe a few tweaks to the design might make it better.
