I have a 6 yr. Old cat that has FIV. He takes pain meds for rest of his life. I asked a vet if there was any other meds that he could take for his runny eyes, sneezing, snotty nose, etc. and she said no. I told my husband that I don't believe that so I did some research and found this powder immune supplement. I ordered it and got it on time. The jar is a good size for the price that is reasonable. I started giving my poor boy the supplement at dinner time yesterday and gave it to him again today. I put a small scoop in his food. No trouble with him eating. Does not have a smell. Also his eyes and nose were clear this morning when he woke up. So I'm gonna assume that this stuff is starting to help. I couldn't watch my boy feel miserable everyday. Had to try something. I will buy again.

My cats wouldn’t eat the treats or the gel. I don’t put this in their food. Didn’t want them to stop eating. I put this in tuna or chicken from the can. They gobble it up. The scoop is kinda big. I cut it in half. My cats are a lot less sick. Sneezing has almost stopped. I’m on my third day.

I got this to donate to a local shelter who is always taking in street cats and kittens. They usually have compromised immune system at intake and this helps to boost them back up.tge shelter says it goes into their food mix easily and the cats always eat it.I also get this for my dad's cat who has a mouth disorder. It helps with the gums and keeps him a little healthier.

My cats love the chicken flavor of GKD Lysine Powder. I can even smell the chicken from the jar. Comes with pre-measured scoop = 2 grams. Jar says for intermittent use only! Jar says NOT for Kittens under 1month! Daily use Dose chart for 3 sizes, so guessing that means 1/day. Most cats are under 25 pounds, so the dose is half to 1 scoop daily. Jar contains 4.32oz x 28.35 = 122.47grams = 61 scoops at 2 grams each. I literally counted only 33 scoops straight from the jar!!! So either the Jar label is wrong which said it contains 4.32oz or the scoop is not 2 grams each. I dont have a scale to check these errors. So for a 2 cat household, this jar would last just 16 days. I mix it into their wet pate and shreds. Text on jar is 2 pitch, black text on dark purple background, requiring magnifier. Jar lists ingredients L-Lysine Monohydrochloride, AstragalusRoot, FermentateSaccharomycesCerevisiae, Quercetin, PeaFlour, chicken liver powder, Tocopherol, brewers yeast, SoyProteinIsolate, chicken liver flavor.

This formula is very light but very dry. If you scoop it, and put it on food, it immediately splashes off. Use gently.

So far the cats have taken it well in their food. Just started using about two weeks ago. Not sure how effective it is yet.

My cat loves this lysine supplement! I got this for her as it has an added flavor that I thought she might like. She usually has plain lysine. It's hard for me to disguise it in her food and sometimes she goes without. I know that she needs to supplement to feel strong and healthy so I felt that this flavored one might be the way to go. I mixed it in with her wet food and she ate all of it, shockingly! I do appreciate the little scooper this comes with.Five stars. Kitty appurroved.

My cat is FIV+ and this supplement helps to slow down the process and extend Winston's life. Just sprinkle the powder on wet food and mix it up and let him eat it! It also comes with it's own measuring spoon (1/8 of a tablespoon), which is easy to use and I would have a hard time taking 1/4 and trying to figure out what half of it is. This product is recommended by my vet and I highly recommend this to you.
