How do you review something you hope you never have to use. This rechargeable car jumper charged up without issue. I charged my iPhone off it without issue. I have a good battery so hopefully I will never have to test it’s main function.If I was looking now this wouldn’t be my first choice. There are some now that also have an air compressor and it would be nice to only have to carry/keep up with one device. There are also plenty of similar jump starters that are equally or more powerful at a lower price point, I haven’t seen anything with this one that would justify the just under $100 price.Edit: 12/21/24. Yesterday I had occasion to test the jumping ability of this product. I am pleased to say it easily jumped my 2019 Subaru Outback and it took less than 10% of the available power.

This jump starter is incredibly powerful! I’ve used it several times since I purchased it. The high-capacity performance of the product is truly as advertised. I’ve also successfully started my friend’s motorcycle and lawnmower with it. The smart jumper cables are designed with such care that they prevent incorrect connections, making it easy for a car novice like me to operate.The sturdy storage case allow me to carry it with me in the car at all times. The package includes all the necessary accessories, which is very thoughtful.

I bought this way back in August, it's not December because my big HoBo Freight jump box finally took a dump, and finally got to use it on the dead mower battery. It's essential to have a jump pack when you live on a farm and run a lawn care business.This unit seems well built, it's small and compact to fit almost anywhere and the price is comparable, if not a little less than other big name brands. It has an LED light which is great if you are stranded somewhere and it's dark. It also has usb ports so you could charge your phone if needed. Also, the display screen is nice so you can view different information about the unit.So far I'd highly recommend getting one of these especially if you don't have one already, because you never know when you might need it. I forgot to mention, the unit came 99% charged, but I topped it off when I first got it and haven't charged it since.

When I was younger, I drove my little Datsun B210 to the airport so I could fly to a friend's wedding and play guitar.I had a great time, and when I got back home, I went out into the darkened and deserted parking lot and discovered that I'd left my lights on and the car wouldn't start.Luckily, there was a service station right across the street...so I walked over there and the guy said he'd come and jump the car off.A couple of minutes later, the car was going and I was ready to...go."That's 60 bucks for the jump" the dude said.60 bucks?!!(He was right across the street! Did I mention that?)I'm cheap.I think I might have spent a little more than that to fly to the wedding.I couldn't believe it.For some reason, I had the cash...and I paid him...and probably fumed all the way back home.60 bucks to drive across the street?Anyway...that's a long winded way of saying that this thing is worth it's weight in gold when it's the middle of the night and nobody's around and your car won't start and you don't know what to do.If you have one of these in the trunk, you just jump your car off yourself.Easy.This is small...holds a charge...has a nice case.We have a jump pack like this in each of our cars. The only maintenance you have to do is to check to make sure it's fully charged every once in a while.I paid 60 bucks to have a guy drive across the street...almost (wow...the time is flying) 40 years ago.Just buy this.It's way cheaper and a lot less aggravating to just buy one of these jump packs.And...you get to avoid waking up the tow truck driver so he can drive across the street to save you...and charge you 60 bucks.I'm still fuming.Buy one of these.

My initial impression is that this is at least average quality. It has a couple of extra bells and whistles with the light. It fits easily in the carrying case which is nice to have.I have purchased two other lithium jump starters before, both from Costco. I returned the first one after a year because it was absolute junk. The battery stopped holding a charge and it could not even jump my freaking lawnmower. My new one is working pretty well. This thing is as good as that, although rated for a higher load. So far I have only needed to jump my lawnmower and it worked just fine. I also use this as a flashlight when I was working on some thing in the garage and it was handy nearby. The real test will come this winter . I live in Minnesota and I will wait until it's below zero then I will give my 25 year old 5.4 L triton V8 a completely unassisted jumpstart from this and I will see if their 8.5 L rating is complete BS.

This is a nice compact jump start pack that we picked up to keep on hand in the vehicle for a just in case. I fully charged the unit before placing it in the car. Everything you need to use this is included and it has a hard / soft shell carrying case. I finally got a chance to try this item out today on a neighbors V8, 6.2 liter engine. The jump starter is very easy to use and includes instructions. After placing this on the jump start / charge terminals located under the hood within 30 seconds the truck started right up. I was amazed how such a small unit packs that much power. I would much rather use one of these than traditional jumper cables with today's computer controlled vehicles.This jump start unit has built in protections in case you place the cable on the wrong terminals, and over charge protection.
