I've had my Canon PIXMA printer around a week Everything has been excellent so far. I'm highly impressed with the print quality; the setup and network connection were incredibly straightforward. The app is also very user-friendly and intuitive. The printer feels a little cheap; however, it does the job. And it connects to the home network, which my three-times-as-expensive HP Envy printer doesn't! Next-day delivery as you would expect! 5/5 stars.

Having spent 3 hours yesterday going in circles trying to set up an Epson printer I decided to return that one and ordered this Canon PIXMA. Wow, the difference is amazing. Set up within 20 minutes of arrival and already printed perfectly in black and white and also in colour. Thrilled at the speed and ease of use. Came with ink cartridges that work. Usual size for a scanner printer. Good app to install and run. Ink is average price. Very glad I returned the other and went with this - fantastic price too. Thank you Canon for saving my sanity!

A solid, easy-to-use printer that delivers great color prints and reliable wireless connectivity. Warning: Mine arrived with a European plug, but Amazon’s customer service was great and issued a partial refund so I could buy a UK replacement. Once powered up, the setup was seamless and the print quality is excellent for the price. Great bit of kit, just have a UK power lead ready!

Superb ! Arrived in 24 hours . Well packaged . Up running , printing and fully connected- smoothly within 15 minutes ! Very impressive. Thank you Canon for this smooth interface .

Not a good start, the printer just “stopped” halfway through the second ever document print job. Green light just flashed and none of the buttons would respond - not even the power button. Had to pull the plug out and try again. It has been fine since but it was worrying. At high print quality setting it takes a while to print even a grayscale document only with text on it. The lowest quality setting is just too poor to be useable in a document. Fitting the cartridges is a pain, fiddly and not much room to get them in. When I got it working ok - it ran alright. You need good quality paper to make the most out of this printer. Don’t skimp if you only use it occasionally. The WiFi App on smartphone works ok but seems complicated at first - but once worked out it’s fine. Latency is poor - it seems to buffer each time a screen changed. The scan queuing works well but it didn’t save the scans how I wanted them. It saved a sheet and a half of some of the single PDF scans for some reason. There seems to be a trend among manufacturers of everything these days to use ever thinner plastic panels and lighter materials - to maximise profit - which makes the panels on the printer feel flimsy and fragile. It’s all very thin but it’s a cheap printer - as long as it does the job I need I’ll be happy.

I bought an HP printer months ago for twice the price. Never had so many issues with a printer in my life. Was a massive pain from the very beginning, wouldn't connect to wifi consistently, only printed when it wanted to, constant paper jams, etc. It was a nightmare. Bought this printer after trying to print a single page for an hour with my old printer. This printer is excellent and a breath of fresh air compared to the HP printer. Extremely easy to setup and connect to both my phone and PC. Was printing within minutes of getting it out of the box. No issues and there's lots of helpful stickers to make everything fool-proof. Really satisfied with this and I'll be sticking with Canon from now on.

This is a great little printer with many more features than I expected. You can print quickly in colour or black and you can adjust the paper size to suit. It is not any more noisy than a laser printer or other ink jets. It is well made and connects to wifi and your devices seemlessly and quickly. Great value.

Just bought this for cheaper than new Epson ink cartridges would cost! It’s actually a much better printer and doesn’t force you to print a million test pages first before it will let you print anything at all. It was very easy to set up on WIFI and it has kept connected so far. It is quite lightweight so not sure of longevity - you have to put the power cable in the back of what feels like an add-on power pack that wiggles about a bit. Ink is a bit tricky to insert as you do it from inside so best doing this at eye level if you can. All in all though - a decent cheap and cheerful printer.
