These are perfect for standard top-post car batteries. But the clamp I needed it for is a strange, thin-walled clamp that wouldn't open far enough for the shim. Yet fully tightened it was moveable by hand. Standard clamps would be no issue. These are nicely made and will be a great solution for regular-sized clamps. I am keeping these - confident in their value and should myself or a friend need one.

Ridiculous and completely useless. These “shims” are too small. Smaller than the battery terminal and too thick. As is being too thick, they won’t work under a battery clamp as it will take up too much space on maybe half a side of the terminal and make for poor contact and unable to secure the factory clamp without deforming it. Useless junk.

Good product but not meant for my car.

This is a review of the SMILFUY battery post shims. This came as a set of 4 (2 pair as advertised) and are made of a cone shaped, soft lead material. The shape allows easy application over the battery posts, and the softness of the lead allows the shim to form and tighten the battery clamps that would otherwise be loose.
