Very comfortable and easy to fill
I've had quite a lot of hot water bottles over the years, and these are by far the best. The are soft and pliable rather than some of the hard ridged ones, and I love the wide neck and excellent stopper which makes for easy filling. I've just bought two this time, and I think I've had four others in the past. I don't expect my bottles to last longer than a couple of years, because I do tend to fill them with very hot water. These seem to last longer than any of the others I've had. I can thoroughly recommend these, and shall be buying some more to have in case of leaks in the future - I don't like being without a h.w. bottle. I do always put a cover on - I've got some old ones from previous purchases.

This is the best hot water bottle I have ever had I’m really pleased with the quality and the size. It is lovely and soft and as I have knee arthritis it is so comfortable to put behind my knees when I’m in pain.

Good product
I like this simple hot water bottle, no smell like rubber ones, and easy screw-on stopper (it doesn't need to be twisted really tight, to be water-tight).I'm not sure why it was described as extra large as it is the same average size as I've always bought.I like that one side is smooth and one ribbed so I can rest it on my lap and it won't get too hot, but my hands get the full heat from the smooth side.I would buy this product again.

Use it with a cover
This hot water bottle is fine. Its not any larger than a normal hot water bottle. There is no warning that I could see about using boiling water. So I imaginge as long as you are careful theres not an issue.I do use it to reduce a physicall swelling but I do have a cover for it, and certainly would'nt use it without a cover.Reasonable value for money
