Pretty good, but hard pieces
They are kind of good just to eat as is. However, some of the pieces are hard, like a few every handful and they are hard enough where you can't eat them. You also have to chew slowly, because if you just chomp on them, you could get a hard one and break your teeth. Therefore you kind of have to feel them out and slowly chew and then throw the hard ones out. This isn't an ideal eating experience. However, the ones that are soft and easy to bite through taste pretty good, wish it was just consistent.

Tasty, but be careful of some hard chickpeas
Arrived in perfect condition. Has a real nice taste to it. As at least one other review has mentioned, it does tent to turn your finger yellow. A WORD OF CAUTION: some of the chickpeas are too hard to eat (possibly not fully roasted) so be be careful when munching down.

Perfectly Roasted!
I use roasted chana a lot in different ways. This pack has well roasted chana with no spices which is good because I can season it according to my taste. There are a few un-popped beans but they can be easily removed. I make salad using these by adding chopped onion, green chillies, cucumber, beetroot, lemon and salt and it makes nice evening snack or light meal. They can also be added as salad toppings for that extra crunch. I always keep a small pack of roasted chana and nuts to munch in between meals because it is healthier than chips or other processed packaged snacks.

Pleasant inconsistent snack
These would be good to snack on but there are too many hard ones, otherwise it would be a pleasant snacking experience. It is too much effort to filter out the hard ones, so I have stopped eating them. The good ones are decently tasty.

Mixed!
This snack is something I have long enjoyed, so I was eager to try this particular brand. When I opened the package, I was so pleased with the familiar fragrance, and enthusiastically tried it. However, I was disappointed to find that many of the chickpeas were not actually edible, because they were still dehydrated, or maybe overcooked to the point of being inedible. While most (maybe 90%) of the chickpeas had been successfully roasted, that remaining 10%, mixed in with the well-cooked, made eating the snack really disappointing. It was very much like biting into an uncooked popcorn kernel, which of course means it's possible this could break a tooth. I ended up going through each little handful to try to take out the inedible chickpeas, which is why this has such a low rating. The edible chickpeas were lovely and filling, but the mixed-with-inedible quality made this overall disappointing.

Roasted chickpeas / garbanzo beans with skins and no salt/spice
I thought I'd give them a try since I do eat a lot of unsalted peanuts. These are supposed to be healthy, especially for older folks, for bone health and all. These roasted Chana are very basic with skin and no added spices or salt, plus you get yellow fingers if you just eat a few. Quite a few are still hard so you get the homemade popcorn experience where you eat kernels when getting down to the bottom..haha.I changed my mind and will roast my own chickpeas next time and add some flavors. I think these will be good as crunchy additions on salads, in soups, and if I rehydrate them, they probably can be added to make hummus. I ordered from TAJ before, and they do seem to provide basic affordable quality.

A Protein Rich Snack Of Tender, Plain Roasted Chickpeas Can Satisfy A Snack Craving
Taj Roasted Chana is a protein rich snack that can easily satisfy a snack craving. The bag holds 14 ounces of tender, plain roasted chickpeas that can be enjoyed straight from the bag. The petite chickpeas made a delicious snack and also as a tasty change from croutons atop a leafy green salad. There are about 8 servings per bag with each 1/2 cup serving containing 200 calories, 6g Total Fat, 28g Total Carbohydrate, 9g Protein, 65mg Calcium, and 2.88mg Iron. The manufacturer noted that this product was processed on machinery that also processes wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, soya, mustard, and sulphites. If you have an allergy to any or all of these foods, please be aware. I wish that the bag holding the chana was resealable for easier storage. Hopefully the manufacturer will consider this for future packaging. It is a Product of India. The product that I received has a best by date of 23 months from the date that I received it. Overall, I am a fan of these Roasted Chana and will definitely add another bag to my Amazon cart.

Good Flavor, but too many inedible pieces
I like chickpeas so trying roasted chana sounded interesting. I enjoy the flavor and was happy with the product in general. The problem, and why I only gave it 3 stars is because as others pointed out there were a large number of pieces that were inedible, and like eating an unpopped popcorn kernel could break a tooth. I would probably suggest looking at another brand to hopefully have fewer dud pieces.
