Idemitsu ATF Oil Auto Transmission Fluid, Compatible with Nissan, Infiniti (1 Quart, Case of 12)

I haven't changed my trans fluid since I got my truck and I'm at 122k miles. I was a little worried about touching it at this point, but went ahead and drained 4 quarts and refilled the same. Fluid looked pretty good (not too dark) and there was no metal to be seen. So far it runs fine with no real change to the shifting that I can tell. May repeat process in a few weeks. This truck doesn't get used much as you can tell.Did a 2nd drain/fill followed by a 3rd one with the remaining fluid left. All good and now I don't need to worry about it for a while.

Great product came in plastic wrap an bigger box to prevent leaks. Use Idemitsu for engine and atf on all my vehicles. Getting expensive now then before but worth it.

I bought four five(5) quarts of the ATF fluid for our 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. It never had a change for 17 years. Due to the engine low mileage at 85K miles the fluid wasn’t burnt or black. I drain and fill 3 times each time removing 3.75 quarts of fluid. Drive the vehicle for a week then repeat. The Pathfinder ow shifts into gear a lot smoother. Engine is quieter as well. Nissan dealer selling the same ATF Automatic S/D/J for $18 a quart. I also use this for the transfer case. For $200 this is all worth it. Dealer or auto shop would charge hundreds if not thousand dollars to service it this frequency. I don’t recommend flushing the transmission as it can do more harm than good. Just drain and fill will be sufficient. You can’t get all of it out through the torque converter but 3x is good enough. Amazon had the best price. This ATF is not easy to find and stock is low. I plan on buying a few more 5 quarts bottle.

Great oem fluid for a low price you cannot beat it

I just used this product to do an automatic transmission fluid change on my 2017 Nissan Frontier Pro4X that calls for Matic S type fluid. What I like most about this product is that it is formulated specifically for Nissan/Infinity automatic transmissions unlike other manufacturers fluids that claim to work in just about any transmission which I find hard to believe. I have looked at some spec sheets that state Idemitsu is the manufacturer of Nissan oem fluid, which makes me feel more assured of what I am putting in my transmission is going to work the best. I have used Idemitsu trans fluid type HK in my Hyundai Accent also with great results. Transmissions cost a lot of money to repair or replace so I will not roll the dice with a one size fits all approach by using trans fluid generics like ValvolineATF or CastrolATF. The nissan dealer wants close to $18 a quart for matic s fluid with their name on it, and that's the only difference between theirs and Idemitsu. (The label) and its more than half the price. This is a Five quart jug and will do a drain and fill on most transmissions. The box store brands only come in 1 or 4 quart containers. I highly recommend this fluid for Nissan/Infinity vehicles.

Doesn’t have the same kick as the oem matic J juice but in a pinch it’s not so bad but definitely doesn’t taste as good after the first cup or two so if you have a choice on a Friday night, definitely pick up the top shelf oem brand and party on!

This is the OEM Nissan transmission fluid, but under a different name. Works great, and for way less than what the dealership would charge

Seems to work fine in my 2006 infiniti G35 coupe. Shifts a bit smoother in the automatic trans, much cheaper price than dealer!
