These plastic cutleries are Walmart-branded. They came in two colors: clear and black. Both dissolve when getting in touch with acid food such as oranges. When we used the knives to cut the oranges, the outer layers of the knives dissolve when touching the orange skin. The black version is especially obvious because the black paints are dissolved and get into the food. The clear version is hard to detect because it is clear. But if you look at it carefully, you will find the similar dissolving process happens.These cutleries are marked as BPA free. However, I am not sure what are the health hazards the dissolved plastic might cause when digested.
