Love these for acrylic and gel nails. 4 grits in 1 file.

My nails get REALLY sharp, and I’ve tried numerous products to deal with that. These are the best. Use more traditional emery boards to file down the length, but these are perfect for finishing. They wear out quickly, but that’s to be expected with high grits. They are well-designed and still cheap enough to justify the purchase.

I like the four different options on one board as my needs change depending on the individual nail and its condition on a given day. But even the most coarse option on these boards is not very coarse so you may need to have a lower grit file available if you tend to have thick nails.

So convenient to have 4 grit levels available in one tool. Appreciate having a back-up supply as the result of a single purchase.

This review is for the KISS 4-Way Nail Shaper. I paid $9.50 for 12 nail files. They have 4 different grain levels - two blue and two pink on opposite sides of each file. They are thick boards, which are not my favorite because the size makes them hard to file the edges of my nails without feeling like I'm going to give myself a paper cut. Because of this and the fact that I keep my nails short, I am only able to use the very side of the file, and the grit wears out very quickly. I was able to file all of my nails with one file, but after that, the file was pretty much worthless, as I don't use the blue, more coarse side. I am not sure what I used to buy, but I have a file that looks just like this one - it has been in my car for about 5 years and it still works well. So, it is disappointing to me that these break down after one use, but I have not found anything better lately and have tried a few. For what is available now, I think these were worth the approximately $.80 per file that I paid.

Work great!

I like the different grits on these boards. I do my own dip nails at home, and these boards ensure a smooth surface before the top coat. Little bumps in the top coat really bug me, but these boards provide a nice smooth surface. Will purchase again.
