Simple Houseware Freestanding Clothes Garment Organizer Closet, Silver

We bought this unit for my daughter and son-in-law to use while they live in our basement while he finishes a masters degree. It assembled quickly, although it is important to follow the instructions carefully and not place parts backwards, otherwise the horizontal bars won’t fit into the holes. I see others experienced similar problems while assembling. This unit is sturdy and holds plenty of weight. I don’t recommend trying to move the unit laden with stuff; it comes apart easily. Great value for the price.

I honestly can’t say enough good about this clothes hanging thing-a-muh-jig. I wasn’t at all prepared for how easy this would be to put together or I would’ve unboxed it right away. I dreaded it until I saw what was inside. Zero screws, bolts or anything...it all locks together against itself!! It was delivered fast, it’s easy to assemble and once everything is locked in place it’s extremely sturdy. It’s also very nice looking. The way they designed it you can fit a boatload of clothes or whatever else you need on it even though it’s not so huge that you can’t find a place to put it. It’s made my life easier. One piece of advice: either have a rubber mallet/rubber hammer ready, or use a regular hammer with a hand towel to knock the pieces in place unless you’re really strong. Some people could do it without, I’m sure, just not lil ole me. But very doable even if you have strength issues with the mallet or hammer w/towel to protect the item. Great buy!!

I use this as a plant stand and I wouldn’t recommend doing that. The wire spacing is too far apart that if you have a small pot it won’t sit right. And if the pots are too heavy the wire starts to slightly bow. However it was super easy to build and it’s quite large so you have plenty of space to hang and put clothes on . It would be great for clothes storage.

I bought this for my boyfriend who moved into a bedroom inside someone’s home… the only issue is that the closet inside the bedroom was FILLED with their son’s stuff who was off at college.My boyfriend has A LOT of clothes, so not having a closet seemed like it was gonna be a huge issue. After a quick browse through Amazon, we found this product and thought it would fit his needs!My boyfriend was able to easy assemble it on his own without any injuries, which is very different than previous things he has built.He has made great use of it and it is able to fit all of his clothes, even his suitcases! He has loved it so far and is so happy we bought it. It’s been great for storing all of his clothes, it was easy to assemble, and it keeps his room nice and organized!

It won’t let you leave half stars or I’d give it an overall 4.5. It looks nice but it’s cheaply made. Assembly instructions are pretty easy to follow and understand but assembly itself is a pain. The poles to the shelves don’t fit into the base pieces properly so it takes a bit of flexing and forcing to get them together. As far as sturdiness it feels like it will hold the clothes I need it to but the top shelf broke apart while I was trying to install it, the parts where it was connected were not done well. I’m a small girl who can barely bench a bar with no added weight to it so I know my “strength” is not responsible for it snapping off, and as you may be able to see in the pictures there’s bowing in the bars where the shelves are because they don’t fit properly.

It was easy to assemble and light. Having said so the upper portion where you can hang your clothes from broke. The cubicles were fine but now I cannot hang all of my work clothes from there. this is good as a temp option but not a permanent solution. its brittle but does the job

I’m living in my parents’ basement while we build a house. There wasn’t enough closet space so I got these. They’re phenomenal. Super sturdy and easy to put together. We’re going to keep them after we move to use for garage sales since they’re so great.

Put the storage rack in my closet which had no hanging bar it fit like a glove it was very easy to assemble. The only thing I had a problem with was when I put some thing on the top shelf and the rack kind of collapsed came out of the holes that it was attached to but it was an easy fix I kind a like super glued it in because it kept coming out. And it’s like new. I would definitely recommend this storage rack for anyone and I have quite a few clothes to hang on it and it’s doing it’s job very pleased.

Worked perfectly in my closet. More storage for shoes and clothes. Well worth the price.

The reason I ask if you've ever seen the movie "Babe" is because there's a line in it that has stayed with me since I saw it (yes I'm dating myself but it's a good movie if you're in a family with kids setting that I didn't hate) and that's when Farmer Hoggett (played by James Cromwell) says to Babe (voiced by Christine Cavanaugh) after a very successful attempt at the sheep herding competition "That'll do pig. That'll do".Now I wouldn't say this is anything to cheer about in the way that the crowd and animals did upon Babe's successful attempt but saying that this will do is also accurate.The assembly was fairly easy as it's just snapping pieces together. The one issue is that you have metal poles going into plastic connectors and the plastic connectors do not seem to all be equally made. I had to accept that one of the sections was not going to be a tight solid fit as it should. Luckily I could position the weak connection in a spot where it wasn't going to cause problems but it is extremely loose and if it were more than one of these it would have been a huge problem.The other thing that I don't appreciate as much is that the space where you hang things in real life seems to be smaller than the depictions. All the shirts and pants I have wind up either touching the floor or straddling the lower pole. Which is not a huge deal but you might want to know that before getting in too deep with this item.That said it does what I expect it to do and mine isn't falling apart whenever I put something on it. It is easy move because it is light but that's when the easily disconnecting joint becomes a problem for me. It's compact and helps me save space while keeping things organized. I do wish I had known the connectors were plastic as that might have made me change my mind. It's not the sturdiest built organizer but it's also not the worst. So in the words of the farmer "That'll do pig".

Bought this for my nursery. Was fairly easy to put together especially being 35 weeks pregnant. I did end up breaking one of the smaller shelves and I’m not sure if it was from being to rough trying to separate it from another piece or if it’s because of poor quality. My husband is just going to weld it back together. Overall for the price it is good in my opinion. Instructions were easy to follow.

To preface, this is not a terrible shelf given its price, but I would not recommend this product. The main problem is that this shelf is not structually sound. I have built a couple of these closet storage shelves from different companies so far and this one is the most disappointing. I listed the main issues below:1. Lack of rigid supports and reinforcement: This shelf is very wobbly. Every time I hang a piece of clothing the entire structure can shake. The main cause is that the design of this shelf uses too many connectors and no diagonal reinforcements. Each of the joints flexes a little when under pressure, which adds up to large shifts in the overall structure.2. Impercise manufacturing of the connectors and metal rods: This shelf does not use screws. The metal rods are inserted into the sockets in the plastic connectors directly. The issue is that there are minor deviations in the sizes and orientation, which causes mis-alignment over multiple rod/socket connections.3. Not level: This shelf really needs some adjustable feets. Due to the aforementioned issues, this shelf is not very stable on the ground.The annoying part is that this product just need a few changes and a few more dollars in material costs to be good.

After reading the reviews about this product I was hesitant to buy it as some people said that it wasn't very sturdy but it was exactly what I was looking for so I took my chances. I am happy that I bought this as it look great and seems quite sturdy actually. My only complaint really was how difficult it was to put together. The C and D pieces wouldn't fit because the holes were to small so I had to use a hammer to get the metal rods in place. It took me about 45 minutes to put this together.
