Works perfectly. Just put the batteries in, point it at the TV, and you're ready to watch. No pairing needed. Well, you do need to pair it in order to use the voice function, but that was super-easy, and it works great (if a tad slow... when I said "Netflix" it took a few seconds to register then follow the command but it did do it on the first try). Can't speak to the longevity yet (it just arrived yesterday) but it is sturdy and looks well-made.

BUY THIS REMOTE! I bought this remote to replace the original which broke after much abuse. The second day of having it I lost it. One day after multiple snow storms, the driveway started to thaw out, and I saw the remote laying in the middle of the driveway. It spent multiple rain, snow, and ice storms, along with months of being buried under snow in freezing conditions. I brought it inside and tried the remote and it worked perfect. No damage even after multiple snow plows have driven over it! I didn’t even change the batteries. Highly recommend this remote. It also has better controls than the original. Feels smoother. Great value for the money! Get it!

The remote works great. It was super easy to program. The remote has a different shape and feel than the original one. Other than that it’s great.

By far better than my expectations, we’ve had our TV a little over seven years and we’ve been through three remotes, the one that came with the TV was eaten by the dog, so we bought another generic one for it never worked well, bought another one that was supposed to be like the one that came with the TV did not connect, finally bought this one and it’s just as good as the original! Buttons are easy to press, connects first time you put the batteries in great value for the price, wasn’t having high hopes due to the low price, but super happy I purchased this remote for our Samsung TV.

Perfect replacement! I broke my Samsung TV remote and ordered this. It looks exactly the same. Same functionality! It's just a bit hard with the buttons compared to the original which was super soft.

Excellent replacement for a brand new 65" Tv.. the one that came with tv was awful..no voice activation? And if u were technically challenged..well forget it@ this remote paired instantly and works great! SAMSUNG really needs to change the one they offer to this one! Easy to use ..compatible.. buttons actually do what they should..no more stretching to find the "spot" on TV that is reactive! A+

Easy to connect to our Samsung TV and works well. The original remote had a million buttons that weren’t needed so this one is so much easier to use.

Buttons aren't very responsive. Gotta keep pushing for it to do anything. It connects to tv super easy just wish it would work better!

Found the back opening to place batteries was very difficult to open, other than that is fine.

Terrible product, doesn’t connect to the the television correctly or just losing connection regularly, causes major lag and is very frustrating. Would not recommend.
