Good hydration and long lasting product, nice scent and ok price
Like most men with beards, I'm on a constant lookout for good beard products. Balms, oils, waxes or butters - each has its pros and cons. This is a butter, so applying is easy and you don't have to use a lot. It gives me a nice feeling of coolness when putting it on. It does leave the beard hydrated, but I'm also happy that it doesn't leave it shiny. As recommended, I use it combined with beard oil (from another brand). The scent is pretty nice - it's not overpowering like my beard oil (I'm so happy that after applying the butter I can hardly smell the oil anymore). Definitely masculine, but slightly more delicate than some scents I came across. The presence of argan oil, shea and cocoa butter as well as carnuba wax will definitely act positively on your beard and skin. A great blend.I like the metal box - it looks nice and professional. Adds to the level of trust in the company that makes it. £13 is on the higher side when it comes to beard products, but I like it. It should last a while - depends of course on the size of your beard! Definitely happy to recommend.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Nice effect on the beard
One of the most important things about this product for me is the fact that it's vegan. SO is allergic to beeswax so reading through ingredients on bread products is a standard thing for me to do. Also an aluminium tin is a bonus from the environments point of viewHe hasn't tried beard butter before so he thought he'd be waxing his beard like Poirot does his moustache. Anyway after getting past this he liked the feeling afterwards and really liked the smell. The fact you need a very small amount is great as the tin itself fits in the palm of the hand. He likes the smell and will continue to use it regularly. Maybe a gift rather than an every day purchase.

Whoa Black Beard Butter, bam-ba-lam
Beard butter is a new one for me - it turns out it is nourishing like a balm but easier to apply (with the consistency of, you guessed it, butter).MoBro's Black Edition products are cologne scented, and I've previously used their Black oil which smells the same as this butter. Now I've used both, I much prefer the butter! The scent is nice, although I do prefer more traditional balm / butter scents, and Black Edition is a bit more expensive. That said, this stuff feels great on the beard and is more softening and offers better conditioning than the Black Beard oil I've previously used. It also doesn't leave the skin underneath oily, which is a huge bonus.Price wise, this is a bit more expensive than their usual products and presumably is top of the range. It does feel like it though, and it is absolutely worth £12.99. I estimate I'll also get a good 3-4 months of use out of the huge 100ml tub. Of note, Black Beard oil is also a huge container's worth, so whilst both are more expensive, you do get more per buy in this range.Overall, and easy 5/5 from MoBros. Absolutely recommended.

Brilliant beard butter
This small tin of beard butter / conditioner is one of the best I've used, the product is soft and smooth which makes it easy to apply to your beard. My beard feels softer since using this product, which has a light fragrance.

Smells gorgeous.
Beard oils and butters are a must for any beard wearer because no-one likes to snuggle up to a scratchy beard. The packaging is understated and low key. I like that the tin is aluminium - reusable and recyclable, big tick from me.The ingredients are what I'd expect from this sort of butter including shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba, argan oil and carnauba wax. I'm pleased that carnauba wax is used - it's hypoallergenic, suitable for sensitive skin and is an excellent alternative to beeswax making it Vegan friendly. It also contains vitamins A, D and E to promote beard health and growth and is paraben and preservative free. NOTE - being preservative free means it needs to be kept cool and dry to maintain freshness. The scent is amazing - it's a subtle, sophisticated blend of woody, earthy and floral notes - it's reminiscent of many high-end aftershaves and colognes. A little goes a long way - the instructions are to use a pea sized amount, warm it in the palm and distribute evenly throughout the beard. This is definitely a case of less is more - start small and add more if required though unless the beard is very long I doubt anyone would need more making it very economical. I also like that the finish is matte rather than shiny - for me it's more understated and less 'try hard'. This butter looks, feels and smells premium. The tin is small enough for a pocket or travel kit and would make a great stocking filler for the beard wearer in the family. At £12.99 for 100ml (as at 19 October 2024) I think this is excellent value for an excellent product. Definitely worth consideration.

Beard Butter
Comes in a small pot, similar to any hair products.I thought it would be more like a moisturiser, but it is more like a thick mouse/ paste that resembles hair products too. However, it is soft and easy to take out, and applies to your beard without any issue. If you do leave it on your hands too long, it does get a bit sticky, but otherwise no complaints. It doesn't really feel like there is any product on your face, but you can definitely smell it. The fragrance is fairly decent for a man, and have received positive compliments when wearing it - even hours after applying it.Beard doesn't feel too different after a few uses, but the smell alone tends to be enough of a reason to use it.
