💜 Elevate your garden game with the effortless elegance of Amethyst Falls Wisteria!
The Amethyst Falls American Wisteria is a native, twining woody vine that matures to 15-20 ft in height and spread. It produces striking deep lilac to purple flower clusters in late spring and is shipped in a #2 gallon container, ready for immediate planting in USDA zones 5-8. This less aggressive variety supports local songbirds and thrives in moist soils, making it an eco-conscious and visually stunning addition to any arbor or trellis.

Healthy but much smaller than expected
I was surprised that is was just a twig with a few leaves. I found one at my local nursery for the same price that was already flowering. I'd send it back but wouldn't want to take the chance of it dying in transit.

Exceeds expectations
Arrived in excellent shape. Is growing very fast and is already being trellis trained after having for just a few weeks. Can’t wait to see the blooms when it matures!

Great packaging - Ordered Dormant plants in January, started growing in February
I'm probably going to start ordering all of my plants online. I used to work in a garden center, and all plants get shipped at some point. Having them shipped right to you actually makes more sense than having them shipped to a store where they sill sit for weeks. Store plants always get disease the way water is sprayed all over the folliage while they are packed tightly together. My plants came healthy and very well packaged. It was below freezing the day they arrived, and they are still fine. The soil was still moist and not frozen. They came dormant because it's January, which I expected. If your plants come as twigs with no leaves, it's probably just dormant. Whisteria is supposed to be pretty hard to kill and survive temperatures or -20F. The fact that it is invasive should tell you how hard it is to kill.I live in the warmest temperate zone in the US, so it will take longer if you live somewhere colder, but I was able to plant the Whisteria in pots right away and they started putting off new growth a month later. I'm growing mine in pots on an apartment balcony. I made arbors for them using chicken wire. This is something I did at another apartment and works well.If you are worries about planting it in the ground due to it being invasive, large pots work fine tooMine are in 10 gallon pots.Overall great purchase. I'm very happy.
