Just received this key, used it a few times and, wow it is really nice. Very solid, good weight and just responds very nicely! Highly recommended!

The key is well made, not quite as heavy as the more expensive one but works great for a beginner learning CW

First set of paddle keyer. After proper set up. Can't wait to get cw down as best as i can. I also have the mini blue key. Now to order the full size blue straight key.

This one actually works. I have had other similarly machined and looking keys that flat out of the box did not work. This one does and is adjustable to fair touch loads.

Giving it 5 stars because it's better than 4. Seems sturdy and feels good to use despite the wide spacing between paddles. Heavy enough that it doesn't move around on my desk. Fabric wrapped cord is a nice touch as is the jack on the base ( it's a 1/8" jack at both ends, so you'll need an adapter for older radios). I'm not a real CW operator, but at this budget price I could not help myself and perhaps it will inspire me to do more CW operating.

You may need a rubber mat if you don’t have a steel surface to work on. Mine it sitting on a wood sheet for the picture only, a silicone baking mat would be a great non slip surface for a non metallic desk. This unit has magnets with rubber pads covering them.I would buy again.

I feelFor the price this is a good quality paddle. Just getting back into CW and the key is performing well. My only complaint is it is light and moves around on the desk
