Kärcher K 2 Horizontal Electric Power Pressure Washer, 1700 PSI, 1.4 GPM, with 1 Spray Wand and Pressure Hose, Compact Design, Easy to Store

I bought this for my Kärcher K7 and mainly used it for washing my mother’s car. The foam jet works really well, producing a nice, even layer of foam that clings properly to the surface. It’s very easy to fit and simple to adjust. The unit is compact and feels durable, with high quality plastic that doesn’t feel flimsy at all. I’ve had no issues with leaks, which is something I was slightly concerned about with foam attachments. Everything stays sealed and works as it should. I picked it up on sale, which made it excellent value for money, but even at full price it feels fairly priced for a genuine Kärcher accessory. A solid, well-made add-on that does exactly what you want it to do.

I've been toying with the idea of getting one of these for ages and use it a few weeks ago for snowing my car before cleaning it. The trouble I had was getting it onto the wand, it just didn't want to go on, I nearly smashed the whole thing on the floor at one point, but, all of a sudden it went on and turned with the usual click, not sure what I was doing wrong, but it was ok, I put the desired amount of snow cleaner in and I topped it up with water and it worked really well, you have a choice of amount that comes out so you can regulate how much you use, well worth the buy, it seems good quality, but time will tell.

Bought on sale. Works well but expensive for what it is. Makes cleaner the car more fun and is easy to use and adjust the amount of foam.

I purchased this to use on my old Bosch pressure washer along with an adapter. The dispenser supplied with the washer was pretty hopeless. I wanted to clean the uPVC around the outside of the house which was looking very grim with dirt and mould everywhere. I was not sure what to expect for £13.99 but looking at the reviews I decided to give it a try. I had bought some general purpose detergent for a fraction of the price Karcher and Bosch were asking for and was looking for a way to get that detergent onto the plastic easily and effectively. I have a lot of uPVC on the outside of my house! The Foam jet arrived the next day and first impressions were mixed. It looked a little flimsy, but it felt ok and the flow control button on the top had a nice feel with just the right amount of resistance. So out of the box it was just ok. My opinion changed instantly when I filled the 0.6l bottle with detergent, fixed it to my pressure washer and pulled the trigger. It is brilliant! Foam began flying out of the nozzle in a wide arc and it was definitely foam too. I looked at the control on the jet and it was set to minimum! On maximum it was even thicker. Good enough to spray onto the uPVC and not have it run off instantly. Better still, when I looked at the bottle it had only used a fraction of the detergent that I had expected it to. This attachment is truly a fine addition to any power washer. It made cleaning all of my facia, guttering and siding a breeze! A few days later my Bosch pressure washer handed in the towel after many years of hard labour and I decided to get a Karcher washer that has a Plug n Clean detergent system. After using the new washer ‘s Plug n Clean system, I definitely prefer the foam lance. After a fair bit of use I dropped it and cracked the flow control button, so the unit is a little flimsy. The crack is only minor and has not affected the jet in any way. I could have been tempted to knock a star off for this little hiccup, but when you look at the price and how well the jet performs, it would be unfair of me to do that. So from me it gets 5 stars. It is great value for money, performs brilliantly and it paid for itself in no time just by using so little detergent. If you are thinking about getting one, don’t hesitate, it’s brilliant!

Good quality

I have never been involved with 'Snow Foam' for anything (unless that party at college counts!!) so didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount and waste it. The fact it is adjustable for the mixture ratio and under £15 I therefore can't argue. I already own a 'K' series Karcher pressure washer so this fits with no adaptors which is ideal. Initial feel is very light and cheap, few rough edges on the mouldings - which may explain some of the poorer reviews should some of these have blocked the gun nozzle - but then it was under £15 so don't go expecting professional quality with full brass fittings. Onto using it.... Unscrewed the nozzle and filled to the top with snow foam concentrate (Pro-Kleen orange). A funnel may help if you have one as the neck of the bottle is quite narrow. To start with I turned the mixture to low, and went for it..... a bit of a damp squib - was no different to using a Karcher bottle of detergent thru the washer. So turned up the mixture and tried again, and again until I got to about 3/4 and a lovely thick foam clung to the car for a good couple of minutes. Turned up to max and it was like that college party all over again!!! I covered a (rinsed) large estate car fully once, plus a few overlaps, plus the setup (OK playing and entertaining a 5yo), plus the front door (shame the cat-flap was not locked, but the kitchen floor is now clean!) and a bit of guttering/fascia and still had appx 200ml left to pour back into the concentrate bottle. Once the foam had run off - pressure washed from top to bottom and the majority of dirt was gone - would have been better with a brush. A quick hand wash and chamois and great result. All in all great value, it does the job and no more. Be aware that it is plastic and will be more fragile than a more expensive item, but that said so long as it is not dropped/bashed/kicked around the garage it should give years of service,

If you’ve never used one you don’t know what you’re missing out on. Not just for the car, I’ve foamed the drive and patio too. Well made, great foaming power, very good coverage. Can hold a decent amount of cleaner and doesn’t feel heavy at all when full and in use. Works beautifully with my old K2 and my newer K3. Left a wonderful thick foam when using Karcher cleaning fluid on my drive.

Product is hard to fit onto lance for powerhose and once fitted is difficult to remove The problem is a yellow plastic part which needs to be removed with tools after use. The size doesn’t seem to be a correct match for the powerhose.

For use only with Karcher Electric Pressure Washers as it attaches with the proprietary Karcher wand connection. Works quite well for foaming a car when washing. You can adjust the amount of the mixture and adjust the direction of the spray path with the twist of a nozzle. Background on my primary use of the product - I much prefer an electric pressure washer to a gas as there is less noise and fumes plus they are typically more cost efficient to purchase and run. I use mine primarily for detailing my cars and some occasional cleaning of plastic siding on the house, so anything over 2000 PSI would be over kill for my purposes. The use of the electric Karcher also allows me to wash my cars in the garage with the door closed during the colder months and out of the sun during the summer months. Review of the actual product - In terms of this Foam Jet attachment, most Foam Canons are only made to use with gas pressure washers so this was a nice find for the electric Karcher models. In terms of operation and results, a proper Foam Canon such as MTM creates better foam but this is a close second having used both. Considering that MTM and others require the use of a gas pressure washer and these Foam Cannon's cost roughly twice as much as this Karcher attachment, this is a great product. It is also far superior than trying to use a Foam Sprayer that connects to a regular garden hose or the regular reservoir that is attached to most electric Karcher pressure washers. I purchased this model as it appeared to be better when compared to the smaller Karcher model 2.643-146.0 since it has a larger reservoir as well as the ability to change the mixture (density of foam) with the turn of a knob. The smaller version had many reviews that were also complimentary with most of the complaints centering around the size of the reservoir and this one again has a larger capacity. At the date of my purchase the model as reviewed is also only about $10 more than the smaller model.
