It's pretty Ok
This is reasonably well built. I think it is a bit expensive for what it is but there are no other options that aren't much more expensive so, it's up to the market on this one. The zippers do seem a but questionable and I question weather they will hold up over time. I wouldn't expect the carry handle to hold up to any sort of abuse. But as a functional tactical portfolio I think this is pretty serviceable. I really appreciate the fact that the 3-ring binder part attaches with velcro so that it can be removed. Not only does this give me options in terms of modifications but it also allows me to replace the rings because, as well all know...rings don't seem to last. All in all if this is something that you want there are no cheaper alternatives so buy it and try it. As long as your expectations are reasonable you won't be disappointment.

Super tough with lots of pockets
This zippered binder is made from some of the toughest materials I have seen for a portfolio. The thick ripstop nylon really feels like it is made to withstand the punishing wear and tear of field use. Plus, the number is features is amazing.Besides the durable skin, this folder has a strong zipper with two large zipper pulls, and a handle built into the spine with reinforcing wrap. A large document pocket on the cover also has a velcro closure to keep everything inside. Two loop areas (as in hook & loop) on the cover are ready to accept moral patches and/or name strips. The excellent design continues inside the folio with pockets galore. 7 credit card sized pockets are sewn into the inside of the front cover, 5 top opening, 1 side opening, and another top opening with a clear window. There are three elastic loops above these pockets which are perfect for USB flash drives or markers. One long pocket behind these is about the same size as a brochure. Behind all that, still in the front cover, is a big pocket for a tablet or thin laptop which also has a zippered pocket on it. Wow!The small ring binder has a push-to-close, pull-to-open mechanism which is easy to operate. The three rings are spaced in the standard configuration which can accept most pre-punched paper and folders. Finally, the rear pocket houses the included 8.5x14 memo pad and has an elastic pen loop above it. Then, the inclusion of a subdued camo US flag with a veclro backing tops the whole thing off.All-in-all, this portfolio is perfect for everyday use or, especially if you need to take paperwork to the field.

Not just a lot of pockets, but a lot of USEFUL pockets
This is a very well made binder. Definitely up to the task of taking out to the field. There is an abundance of pockets. Not just tiny pockets, but very useful pockets. This is sturdy enough to write in comfortably, even on your knee. The one item I am not thrilled with is the ring binder. It is very difficult to open and close. That makes it secure, but hard to use. This is not a huge problem, though, because the rings are attached with velcro making it easy to remove and replace the papers clipped into the rings without having to remove just a single sheet. I would definitely recommend this.

Spacious and well crafted
I expected a simple notebook binder, but was pleased to find the product bigger than expected, It can easily fit a large 3-ring notebook and fully close without binding. The interior has plenty of pockets for business cards (if anyone still uses them), pens, travel receipts, boarding passes, and a see-through ID pocket. The product construction is sound. All stitching is well done and evenly spaced, and the small carrying handle uses a heavy canvas strip that is secured with a box stitch. The cover material appears to be Cordura 500D, typical for this type of product. The Camo looks like M81/Woodland patterns, but the colors are subdued like OCP. The cover has a stiff backer, perhaps plastic but could be cardboard. I didn't test it for waterproofing, but generally, 500D fabric will repel a temporary light rain shower. Zippers are a budget generic type, but they open and close fine.Overall I recommend the product with five stars, it's a well-built item at a value price.

Durable Binder
This binder is made very well. The outer shell is of a ballistic nylon in an OCP/Multicam pattern that's pretty true. The inner parts are very clean and functions very well. There are numerous pockets and sleeves that you can put cards and papers within easily. As for the three-ring binder part, it's pretty basic and will hold at least 7/8" worth of sleeves or paper. The only thing that I dislike about this binder is that the zipper is just too shiny. I was hoping that there would be some YKK zipper that's a bit beefy, but this one has some bling to it. Overall, this is a very functional binder that you can take anywhere from classrooms to travelling. It will survive what you bring it to. I just wish the zipper didn't throw the tactical coolness off.

Perfect for taking notes
I use this at work to take meeting notes and keep track of tasking. Perfect for my purpose but I'd say a bit small for any heavy note taking/class assignments as there's not a whole lot of room for more than about 50 sheets of paper.

Tactical Notebook and Portfolio
This case has a definite "G.I. Joe" look to it, and for those in certain professions or with a certain aesthetic may like that. It definitely looks like you "mean business."I got it for its functionality and water-shedding outer shell, as well as the stiff, protective outer frame. It holds all my personal electronics, chargers, pens, some EDC items, and has a Velcro attached 3-ring binder on the inner spine, as well an included A4 paper size notepad. A 13" laptop fits snugly into the biggest expandable pocket. There are slots for I.D., and credit cards. The zipper is beefy, the carry handle is stitched on well, and there is a nice outer pocket, with really sticky, secure Velcro, for quick access to certain papers.All-in-all, a cool notebook/portfolio/attaché for field use, the outdoorsman, or travel.
