Prevents False Low Blood Sugar Warnings Beside Providing Extra Protection.
I am a new user for the Libre 3 Plus Sensor. Since I am diabetic type 2, insurance does not pay for my sensors. The sensors are rather expensive, but I am tired of pricking my fingers daily to get my glucose readings. I am worrying about pulling the sensor off accidentally. I want a little extra protection. Hence, I bought these waterproof covers. Besides providing extra assurance that the sensor would stay on, it also prevents false low blood sugar alarms. I found this out one night when I was awoken by my phone’s alarms. It took me sometime to figure out what was happening. I had to prick my finger to check my blood sugar reading to see if I was really that low. By the time I verified that the Libre 3+ sensor was giving my false alarms, I was fully awake. I found out later, that if I sleep on the side of my arm that has the Libre 3+ sensor, the pressure on the sensor might give a low sugar warning alarm. This Libre 3 sensor cover provides a hard shell, and this prevents my sensor getting external pressure when I sleep on that side. This stops the false low blood sugar alarms which is a big plus for me. I followed the instructions and put on the hard-shell cover with the round adhesive patch easily. However, I noticed that the edges of the adhesive patch were not glue down on my arm securely. The edges of the patch were wavy, and I could not get it to stick. Disappointed, I considered to pull it off and reapply another one. However, I chose to leave it on and proceed to take a shower. There was nothing to lose as I was going to replace that adhesive patch anyway. After the shower, the adhesive patch stayed on it was no worse than before. I think it even appeared a little more glued down. I left it alone, threw on my sweats and went on my business. Next morning, I woke up, I checked the sensor cover. It looked much better and while there are still some wavy edges, the edges were glued down. My conclusion is that the adhesive is probably more sensitive to temperature. Since the weather has been cold, it probably does not stick as good. My hot shower probably warmed up the adhesive patch. After wearing it overnight and probably sleep on it, the adhesive took hold. I put this sensor cover as soon as I got it and my sensor was already on my arm for about 7 days. So, this sensor cover only needs to be working for 7 days. On the next application, I might use a hair drier and warm up that adhesive patch a litter before applying on my arm. So far this Sensor Cover seems to work, and I am not seeing or hearing the low blood warnings so far. I like it. Recommended! Update 01/06/26 After using this cover for 5 days, the adhesive cover just came undone. Since my Sensor has only 2 more days of life left, i did not want to use another new adhesive cover. I just use a Bandaid with the hardshell. I revised the star rating from 4 to 2 as it only works for 5 days instead of 15 days. I will update this review when I put on a new adhesive cover. Update 01/24/26: - I am revising the star rating to 5 stars. The 2nd adhesive sensor cover held on for the entire 15 days. The difference was that I warmed up the adhesive patch with a hair dryer before applying. The whole adhesive cover lays flat without any frying or wavy edges. This product is fine as is. I cannot be sure if this is necessary but since the weather is cold, I am going to continue to do so. I revised the star rating as this patch not only protects but it also prevents the sensor from giving out false low sugar alarms when sleeping on the side of the sensor.

These actually work!
These are the best sensor covers my boyfriend has ever had. We have tried several different ones and have used the adhesive wipes to help them stick, but nothing else stays on like these have. He says they are comfortable and they stay in place for the full 2 weeks of the sensor life. The others we have tried only stay on for 3-5 days max. A lot of the time they don’t last more than a day. Only complaint with these is that they fray all along the edges and look a little ragged by the end of the first week, but that’s way better than replacing the stickers and/or sensors every few days.

Reliable- highly recommend
After trying different tapes and adhesives that didn’t perform, I finally found this product. Used it for the full 14 days. It was starting to peel off as it got closer to the end of sensor but it held in place. When I removed it to replace the sensor, the sensor and sensor tape was so intact it was hard to peel off. Of course I was careful when showering and avoided scrubbing the area with soap and also careful with towel. But I did all that with other tapes and they started failing within the first week. Highly recommend.

Good quality
I have tried several once and this are by far the best. Had several instances when sensor would fall off the arm when not using the cover. The plastic cover is perfect fit for the sensor. The only reason for 4 stars is that it only stats put for about 4 days and starts piling at the ages after that. However with newer smaller sensors not sure if you really need it.

Love it. Ordered again.
The first time I put this on, I realized I was never going to use an armband cover again. Pros: - Plastic cover provides excellent protection - Designs are cute and don’t fade - Adhesive has excellent staying power - Very comfortable to wear Cons: - As other people have mentioned, seriously why do they only provide a single cover for what’s supposed to be almost 5 months of use. - If you have any hair on the backs of your arms, I imagine removing this could be uncomfortable. I already shave and so removing it requires intent but it’s not painful at all Combination Pro/Con, I honestly don’t know which - This does such a good job that the adhesive on the sensor itself is just as strong on removal day as it was on application day, and so I’ve found the sensors much harder to remove when they’re done!

Edges peel up.
About half of these peeled up around the edges. I really like the protective plastic piece(reusable, so don't toss it). Not sure if I'd buy these again, though.

Patch worked good lasted 7 days.
The patch arrived on time and as described. I applied it as instructed but after just 4 hours and a shower it started to fray. I was able to minimize this with trimming it with a "lint shaver" I had ($10 Amazon) a few times it. On the morning of the 7th. day it started to peal off so I removed. It came off very easily and with very minimal residual left behind. I was able to clean it up with an alcohol wipe. After 6 1/2 days it did not irritate my skin or leave a rash. A big concern of mine due to having sensitive skin. Please refer to my pics. I would recommend this protective patch, however, KEEP IB MIND it will not last the described 14 days and if you want it to look somewhere presentable you will need to trim it with a "link shaver" from time to time. Also I made sure to NOT "rub" it dry after a shower. Just pad it with a dry towel and you shouldn't have a moisturizer issue.

Easy to use!
Works good. Take a bit to pull off but keeps the sensor covered for longer!
