Use the manufacturer's diameter specs for your product type.
Better performance than the original, the cut is precise and smoother. Some people believe that brand doesn't matter but in this particular case when I see Oregon I can see quality.

The best trimmer line I have used.
The great thing about this line is that it doesn't whine/whistle at high speeds like traditional round trimmer line. Used in combination with my 4 stroke Makita brushcutter its much quieter than most.I have used this line this year as a professional gardener. Mostly using it for lawn maintenance and reducing overgrown lawns. It handles thick brambles and tougher perennial plants as well as I could hope without using a blade.

Tough
Use this on my petrol strimmer and it's a lot better than other same priced alternatives I've tried. Not had to open up the spool to re-thread at all yet and I've used the strimmer about 6 times since I put this on. I'm strimming up against concrete fence bases and posts and also some natural stone. Got some left to reload if needed this year but given how its going I don't think I'm going to need it.

Low grade
Wasn’t to impressed with this, constantly had to stop the grass strimmer to pull more wire through as when it hit the long grass it just broke off.
