Well built, easy to use, easy to add and remove weights
this takes a bit of getting used to, at least for me that has not worked out my shin muscles quite like this, but it does work and is easy to use. Built very well and easy to add and remove weights to.

Well-Made but Takes Some Getting Used To
This tib bar has a good quality collar and functions as expected. It holds weight plates securely and is useful for training the tibialis and calves. That said, it’s harder to use in practice than it looks. Getting the movement right takes some adjustment, and it’s not the most intuitive piece of equipment. If you’re committed to tibialis training, it’s a good option, but expect a learning curve.

Well Built, Can't Secure
This tib trainer is designed to train a single foot/leg at a time rather than both at once. This is an interesting idea in theory, but in practice it's kind of a mess. To start with, this item is well built - the welds are solid, the pin for weights is adequate (oly only, no standard option here), and there were no sharp edges or burrs that needed attention. The fit on your foot, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Even with hiking boots on, this thing is loose and sloppy on my foot. Training a singe foot at a time leads to added pitch/yaw, and the distance between supports (and side to side inside them) is cavernous, which makes things even more difficult, in a bad way. This also sits nearly perpendicular to the floor when on my foot, so after about 30 degrees resistance is nearly non-existent. I added 2 sponge cuffs to the "HDR" plastic, and that helped considerably with the slop-factor, but the angle for training is still all wrong. Rather than training my tibs, I feel like I'm having to keep my toes flexed to keep it from either turning sideways on my foot, or from flipping off of it if I contract my shin aggressively. With a way to secure your foot inside of it (straps?), and a change of the training angle this could be a 5 star item, but for my feet it simply doesn't work well.

Solid steel piece! Excellent!
I tore my calf last Spring, so I've gotten big into the rest 'n rehab recovery exercises. This single foot Tib/Fib Bar is perfect for that!! I wear size 12 tennis shoes and as you can see, my foot slides right into it & holds secure. The whole bar is one piece of solid welded steel. Powder coated and painted matte black to finish. It matches in perfectly with all of my other gym equipment. And the 2" style weight post receiver fits my Olympic style Red Dot weight plates. The slide right on and the included compression clamp holds them still throughout the entire set.Tib/Fib bars are a small "maintenance" exercise that goes under appreciated until you get hurt. My advice is to do your legs a favor and get one. Simple 5 or 10 lbs plate is all you need to get a great workout on your front shin muscles. Really good way to keep your legs stable no matter what you play. Enjoy!

Effective at training all the muscles of the ankle
The media could not be loaded. I own Titan's tibialis trainer which I like immensely, but it gets in the way. It's heavy, takes up floor space, and when you try to get it out of the way it it flops around and tries to crush your fingers. Works great, burt wanted to try something else. This thing... money. This hits not only your tibialis anterior, but all the muscles of the ankle. I'd equate the Titan Fitness tib trainer to be similar to a Hammer Strength machine, hitting the intended muscles hard but constrained to a fixed plane. I'd equate this to the use of dumbbells, hitting not only your intended muscles but also all the surrounding muscles. Try doing circles with your toes with this thing. Holy crap...I also ordered a product similar to this that does both feet at once. While I also like that one, it does cut down on the use of the accessory muscles quite a bit as the feet stabilize each other and you get much less outward and inward instability. For how well this works the muscles of the ankle, stores easily, and doesn't want to chop my fingers off, this is my new favorite tib trainer, and my Titan Fitness one is going up for sale on Facebook.

super versatile piece of equipment-
The media could not be loaded. the only thing that feels cheap about this is the branding. i really wish these budget imports would either get good at branding or not put their name in huge letters on the side.but that aside this is built like a rock. really solid. i’m glad i went with the denser foam because it feels more reactive and supportive.i love the ability to do ankle strengthening work as well as isolating my tibs and even hip flexor raises and leg extensions if im in a pinch.i will experiment too because i think there will be some cool things with this that you can do with your wrists, forearms, etcthe weight lock feels really solid too so that was a nice touch.highly recommend because this is at a way lower price point than some name brand ones but it couldn’t be built better imo.

Great Piece of Gear
Solid piece of machinery. Fits 2" plates. Comes with a nice (plastic) quick release collar.Collar holds the plates in place effectively. Works as it should, looks just like the photos in the item detail page.Exactly as shown and exactly as expected. Looking forward to years of using this.
