A chest to treasure!
Awesome wooden chest! Very vintage looking! Used for an event. The perfect accessory to add to the party theme. Not really light weight.

attractive but needs to be sanded
These are attractive wood storage chests that are great for small spaces, the dimensions make it easy to put in small corners, etc. They look attractive with the colors and details. I liked this one as it had a flat top that I could put plants on. But the entire piece needed to be sanded all around. With a good sanding and some Orange Glo furniture polish to help the dry wood have some moisture this is a good deal for an attractive small storage trunk. Even a light sanding with fine sanding paper could help save you from splinters but worth it as the cost of these is relatively low.

It came broken
Box is functional but cheapThere were several Nik’s and scratches all along the corners, including the black part that looks like a metal material it’s just paint and it is chipped.The piece of wood used to close the box is also broken and just sitting in the bottom of the boxI like the box but it was too expensive for the quality

Cheaply built, poor quaility control!
Whoever shipped this didn't care as it was not well packed and was damaged, but the real kicker was it had old mold spots on it and it looked like it sat on a shelf forever. buyer beware on this one...

For the price, it's exellent. It's not as excellent as I would like.
It is made of poor quality wood. It shipped damaged here and there. But for this price, this is acceptable and its excellent. I fixed it up a bit after it arrived. It was used for a gift.

Watch out for splinters
I bought the small arch style box. It's well constructed, sturdy, and nice to look at. I keep my Oculus in it with the controllers. It's the perfect size for that. But it isn't finished well enough to be safe. I'm constantly having to sand it down. I think I'm going to have to refinish it entirely so that I'm not in danger of getting splinters every time I open and close it. So be aware you might have work ahead of you if you buy this.
