This is a really good commode seat. Very happy with the material, it is really good. It closes really slow. But, love the automatic lid close. Really easy to put on. I recommend it and it is a great price.

I was impressed with how fast this arrived. It looks great, and the white color matched perfectly with my Kohler elongated toilet. Installation was quick and easy, taking me about 7 to 8 minutes to do by myself. The instructions were clear, and I didn’t need any extra tools. Functionally, it works really well. The slow-close feature is quiet and smooth, and the seat stays firmly in place without any wobbling. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the plastic is slightly thinner than I expected, and the rim wasn’t smoothly finished. I actually had to use my utility knife to trim an uneven edge, which made it feel a bit rushed in quality. It doesn’t affect performance, but it does affect the overall appearance.

Make sure you get the correct size—“elongated” fits only elongated toilets, many are not. I made a mistake at first and had to return it, but the return process was simple. Once I got the right one, I loved it! The seat is sturdy, slip-resistant, and the color matches perfectly. It’s easy to clean, and the slow-close feature works smoothly. Overall, very happy with the quality and design.

This toilet seat came in excellent condition. The quality is good for the choice I made. Easy to install.

Worked great for 7 years. Only reason I docked 2 stars was that i had to drill out one side of the mounts to remove it for a replacement. The metal bolts corrode and spun in the brackets. I will not buy another Mayfair product. Lasted 7 years, bracket on the seat broke. Used in a 2 bedroom apartment.

Difficult to install and you 100 percent need a 1/2 inch wrench. It comes with brass rectangular washers, 2 screws, 2 plastic wingnut type washers and then 2 long snap off plastic nuts for the screws that you wrench tight underneath until the end snaps off. It's so it doesn't come loose. The seat is a bit thin I was expecting a thicker seat but it is slow close like advertised and easy to clean.

This toilet seat is not suitable for U.K. standard toilet bowel the space between the 2 bolts each end are too narrow and do not fit the holes in the toilet bowel to attach on to

I tend to do a lot of research before I buy anything online and this is the seat I chose. So far I am very happy with it - I have had it just less than 1 week. It may cost a little more than others - but well worth it for the quality. It looks clean and elegant - it has definitely elevated the look of my current commode! The installation instructions included were perfect - no mistakes - very clear diagrams and proper English in the directions. I had the seat easily installed in a jiffy. I did not have to watch a Youtube video. All parts were included, the slow close is just that, and the shipping time was quite quick. I would definitely buy this classy seat again!
