Meh?
First things first, if you're looking to draw a fantasy map you'll want to go with the next hex size smaller. I made this mistake, and while I'm working around it, it was still annoying that I under-estimated the size of the hexes. That was my mistake, though, not the fault of the product. If you're getting this kind of niche graph paper, then you're probably looking to do something creative and perhaps artistic. And to that end, this is basically the same as the bundles of standard cheap grid paper you can get at office supply stores, only bound together in a book. Makes decent scrap paper, good for rough drafts of projects, and the paper itself is of half-decent quality. The problem with this product is the printing and the binding of the book. You will quickly find that not only do the grids not line up on each side of the pages, but if you use a light table you can find that no grid is exactly the same shape and size as the others on other pages. It's inaccurate. Then there's the fact that this paper is bound together like a hard-cover book with no easy way to remove the pages. No perforation, no dotted line to cut along. If you want to remove the pages for whatever your creative needs, you basically have to break out a pair of scissors or a hobby knife and hope for the best. This is a cheap product, but it is also one of the few of its kind I could find here, so meh? Necessary evil?

Cartography bound
This book was a handy purchase for our dungeons and dragons campaigns. It has opened me up to a world of exploring cartography! I love the spacing within it and am very pleased with the overall purchase.

Excellent quality book
Excellent quality book which arrived very quickly. The lines are not blurry and the paper is a good thickness. Only issue it that the hexagons are not the orientation I wanted them. I wanted them to have a corner pointing up but in the book the sides are at the top, I was going to use this for organic chemistry so would need the grid to be rotated 90 degrees. This is my own fault as on the front cover the hexagons are shown as they are inside the book. Other than this, great purchase.

Hexagons not oreintated for drawing organic chemistry
It's nice paper bit the hexagons are oreintated wrong to be able to draw most organic structures. You need corner pointing top whereas this is flat side pointing top.
