Great product and value
We used this chop mat when replacing the stringers and floors of our 78 sleekcraft executive. It was easy to use and did exactly what it was designed to. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid 1708 for their boat project.

well made
Good mat.I will buy again when needed.Thick and well made. The only thing is its folded so tight for shipping. I can't blame them for the price.

Fabric is shipped folded & taped.
This fiberglass arrived quickly, but what I didn't understand when I ordered it was that it would be tightly folded and taped. I always try to avoid using fiberglass that has been folded, rather than rolled up. The tape they used was extensive, and caused a large portion of the weave to be pulled out of shape and unusable.Other than those two issues, the cloth is very thick (heavier weight than I was expecting), and it works very well.

Its Fiberglass
It is what it is. Built a pirogue out of it and it floats just fine

Get it from a different seller
Looks like the person that puller it off the roll dragged across something sharp and snagged it all the way down!!!Makes for way more work because it has to be sanded in between layups costing you time and money!!!! Do yourself a favor and purchase it from a different supplier!!!! ( they do have excellent polyester resin wish there 1708 was as good)

Did they have to fold and vacuum pack?
I wasnt that concerned with them folding it, but did they have to fold it so darn tight?
