Great battery but with reservation….
Great battery EXCEPT it is slightly taller than the stock battery. I couldn’t reuse the battery hold-down bracket that goes across the top of the battery. I had to secure the battery with zip ties. Doing so “works”, but the battery can still move or vibrate which could shorten the life of the battery.

Dead, Didn’t even make it 6 months , batteries are so hit and miss nowadays , was on a trickle charge 100% of the time in Harley , sometimes you get a good one sometimes you don’t , buy a $45 dollar one and get the $9 amazon warranty, the yusa in my Quad is over 3 years old still firing strong , I figured I’d get a good $100 dollar one for the Harley , getting product support from Energizer for a warranty is like Ummmmm NOT , just get a cheapie and a $9 amazon protection plan

Gotta know the order of your wires...
the face of the mounting posts are a little more deep set than the harley batteries (which are designed to be flush with the face). the lug on the cable cannot attach directly to the mounting post. so the spacer that is included has to get put between the wires and the mounting post. once I figured that out, getting the bolts back in went super quick. size wise and CCA are perfect fit for the XL883L. good price, good brand, perfect fit, and it worked like a champ as soon as I finished installing it.

Nut & bolt connectors can make this difficult to install.
If you're buying this to use it on something where the two battery connectors are clearly accessible and you have plenty of give in the cables and room to play with: you can stop reading, this battery is a 5/5. Unfortunately, that's not my case. I bought this to replace a dead battery in my 2013 Harley Iron 883. If you know that bike at all, you know that the battery and its cables are squished tightly into a tiny little space that is barely wide enough for the battery & cables to fit. The negative connector in particular - the cable is juuuust long enough to be able to connect to the battery, and barely has any give. Previous batteries I have had all had threaded connectors so you could use your right hand to support the battery (which is not particularly light) while tightening the connectors with your left hand. It wasn't very convenient or easy, but as long as you got the screw on the connector lined up with the opening on the battery - it was ok. With this battery though, there is an additional component: the "bolt" that ALSO has to be lined up with both the screw and the openings in the connector itself and that becomes a challenge when you're trying to maneuver the battery into its correct place while also making sure the negative terminal cable can actually reach it. If the bolt slips just a few mm to the left or right (which it will on an Iron as the battery goes in at an angle - unless you have someone holding the bike perfectly vertical (i.e. not on the kickstand)), then you're left trying to shake it gently to get the bolt to move so that it's correctly lined up. And chances are you shake a bit too much and the bolt just flies off the battery completely and you have to start again. It's all very fiddly and frustrating. But, it's in now, and the bike works so hopefully I won't have to deal with this ever again (if I need to buy a new battery in the future, I'll make sure it has threaded connectors to start with).
