Awesome extended ending, but not a book! Read book 1 first!!!
My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 unicorns - I loved it!!***Free on most platforms, so get it now!!First things first, this is like a deleted scene for the movie or extended ending. I don’t recommend reading this until you’ve read book 1, Stone Guardian. The cover is okay, but I wish it would have shown both of them together, but the traditional gargoyle in the background is a nice touch. This scene since it really isn’t a book about her dad bringing reality into their relationship, and Terak like any Alpha male has to show his dominance and control to ease his own fears after the dreaded dinner with dad. This is very steamy and should only be read by adults, and it is definitely making me think I could use my own gargoyle :) This is less than 30 pages, so it is a quick read.Danielle’s writing style is awesome, but this is just a tease. I’m glad it was a freebie since it isn’t a book. I like that she is toying with the idea to add this to book 1 because that is a great idea :) I really can’t wait for book 2 :)This is a great add-on to book 1, and I highly recommend anyone who has read Stone Guardian to read this as well especially since it is FREE. I’m really looking forward to book 2 when it comes out :)

Series: Entwined Realms #1.5Category /Genre: Paranormal RomanceReceived from: Amazon purchase (permanently free)Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual contentGrammar/editing: A – near perfectThis is an epilogue to Stone Guardian. It could be read alone, but I strongly urge you to enjoy Stone Guardian first.I thought my first dinner with the new in-laws was bad (I got a bloody nose in the middle of dinner due to my allergies.) Larissa and Terak are both on edge because dear old Dad is against their relationship/mating. Afterwards, sexy reassurance calms them both. (Nope, I’m not telling you what exactly that means. You’ll have to read it).Danielle, Thank you for this wonderful little follow-up. It was very sweet of you to give all of your fans a free little treat. This was masterfully wrought and for just a little while I had returned to a world where anything is possible. Of course like the greedy little bitch that I am, I can only say, “more, more, more!” I am looking forward to more from this little Realm that you have built. Hugs, Your sister-from-another-mister in Florida.

Stone Embrace is a free extended epilogue to Stone Guardian. It consists of the "dinner scene" during which Terak meets Larissa's family and an extended love scene solidifying their relationship and their future as a couple. If you're a fan of the couple, then you'll really like it. The love scene was very well done - a nice mix of sweet and steamy. I really enjoyed Stone Guardian (4 1/2 stars); but I liked the story and the secondary characters more than I liked the main characters and the romance. Larissa and Terak are just too...nice...for my tastes. Nice = bor-ring.It was interesting seeing how Larissa's family took the news of her mating a Gargoyle. I know her family are supposed to come off as loving and protective; but I found them paternalistic and oppressive - so that was one dinner I could have done without - they all just rubbed me the wrong way from the very beginning.I read that the author wrote Stone Embrace in response to fan feedback and I really respect an author that is that willing to consider the fan-base; and making this extended epilogue available for free was really classy.I will definitely read future installments.

A QUICKIE OF UTTER DECADENCE
This story started at the in-law dinner from HADES for Gargoyle clan leader Terak & his human mate, Larissa. Larissa's dad is the grumpy head detective of the police force & her too many older brothers were also showing their displeasure at her choice of hubby. What better way to forget the dinner nightmare than a night of Teak's domineering moves to send Larissa into a whole new orgasmic universe. Ms. Monsch is my kind of author because she wrote this HOTNESS extended version of her 1st book because her fans demanded more loving' & the dad meets his daughter's gargoyle hubby moment. Ms. Monsch can write utterly decadent "Pantie Dropping" scenes & I am hooked! I will be collecting as many of her books that my itsy bitsy payday can handle! She does state that reading the 1st book before this 1, so that is my only disappointment. I could of done that, but I am a reading trailblazer & had to do it my way! I am Ms. Monsch newest fan (insert pompoms here) & give her a score of 4 fingers up & 8 toes for this sexy quickie!

An Expanded Story of What Happened After Stone Guardian
This is a short story that takes place after the events in Stone Guardian (Entwined Realms Book 1) and gives that story a bit more depth in the relationship between Terak and Larissa. There is no plot other than a bit of a face-off with her Dad and some passionate reaffirmation of there marriage/mating.All things considered if it did nothing else it reminded me of the events in Stone Guardian (Entwined Realms Book 1) and makes me wish the next novella and the full novel would get here soon.Taken as a epilogue it was excellent but if you have not read Stone Guardian (Entwined Realms Book 1) then it may not do much for you.

Very short - an extra scene, really
I came over this because I have a handful of authors I regularly check out to see if they've published new books, since I can't trust Amazon to tell me (they only suggest I buy books I'm not interested in by authors I've never heard about). I was so thrilled to see this even if it was clear that it was just an extra scene to Stone Guardian.I loved Stone Guardian an even a short story was more than welcome. This one was about being accepted by Larissa's father - and about sex, really. The latter almost turned me off, not because I don't want sex in my books but because it was so different from the book and made me wonder if my favorite gargoyle had been through an unwelcome personality change. But there was a good reason and I could accept that. So all in all a nice little extra read.

Read Book 1 first, then this one, THEN WEEP when you realize your favourite Gargoyle doesn't star in the rest of the books
Having read the first book, I eagerly anticipated more of Terak and his little human. This very short story was a good way to briefly satiate the need for more stories of the protagonists. However... HOWEVER! To my disappointment it looks like there is no more TERAK in the rest of the series. So now, here I am, having hastily bought the rest of the series to dig deeper into Terak and his Little Human, but am left with a bitter after-taste as we are introduced to new characters in the same world.:( Where's Terak? what happens next to the Gargoyles?I'm struggling to read The Cage King, I find myself scouring the eBook store for more Gargoyle stories as I can't shake Terak from my mind yet.

May no man or thing try to take Larissa from Terak.
I loved this extended scene with Terak and Larissa it was just what I wanted to see between them after everything that had happened in Stone Guardian and with all that had happened they really needed this. It absolutely sizzles! Can't wait for more of Larissa and Terak's story, the danger to Larissa and Terak is real and imminent but together they can conquer anything that comes their way.

Great follow up
This is a short update on Larissa and Terak from 'Stone Guardian' and since I loved that book this is icing on the cake. In Stone Guardian we left Larissa and Terak as they were preparing to meet with her father this book covers that meeting and the aftermath.Wonderful, just can't get enough of these two hope they're in the books that follow.

A disappointment
I haven't read the other books so perhaps this an unfair review - but for for others who haven't and have just picked up a free book!I wouldn't bother starting the book as you must need to read the other books before this one - as it is obviously a pointless waste of time unless you do. A disappointment after reading other reviews.

3 Stars.
This would have been great as the epilogue to 'Stone Guardian' however had I have to pay for this I would have been somewhat disappointed.
