I have pretty bad IBS issues, and I researched some solid supplements. Nothing had ever worked, not even prescription meds. I gave this a shot. I will admit I tried it for a day and hated how it felt in my throat . The peppermint you taste and feel the cool of it like shortly after taking these. However, I tried to keep at it, and yes I still feel that mint in my throat but my stomach is SO at ease!! So thankful for this and I take it daily.

Most of the reviews mention IBS, I don't have that, but I do have a very fussy stomach as far as too much acid and horrible burning after I eat. I've tried peppermint oil supplements, ginger supplements and acid blockers, but I read that long term use of acid blockers can cause cancer, so I went looking for something else.I stumbled upon this and thought since it has peppermint oil and ginger and since I hadn't tried fennel why not try this supplement.It took about 3 weeks for me to get used to this supplement (pretty bad peppermint burps, a very warm feeling in my stomach and a bout of constipation) but now that I have been taking it for about a month, I can say my acid stomach is gone and all the side effects are gone too, for the most part. It's amazing to be able to eat whatever I want and not have to worry about that horrible burning in my stomach.I would give it 5 stars, but I still get mild peppermint burps and a tongue tingle that goes away in an hour or so after I take it.

I found that this product helps tremendously with acid reflux/ GERD. If I put two soft gels in my mouth, bite one of them, then swallow both, my symptoms of reflux resolve within a few minutes. I must also admit that this can sometimes cause immediate burping and/ or flatulence soon afterward, but these are normal functions of the body that are not painful. Acid reflux is painful.

I thought I would save some money over IBGARD. I have to throw them away, so no savings. The first use, the peppermint smell was overwhelming and there is another smell unsure of what it is. After three doses, the pain came. My stomach hurts. I belch peppermint all day, alot of belcong. Going back to what works. No refunds.

This helps with bloating, feeling uneasy or undigested food full feeling. Great addition for our morning routine, helps with gassiness and bloating. It is a must with all the added benefits.

It was my own fault for not reading the label well enough, but I didn't expect an herbal formula to have soybean oil in it. Live and learn.
