Q: Silly question...would Paw Patrol figures work with this size wise?

yes...the characters that came with the set were about 2 to 2.5 inches tall and about 3 inches long..1.5 inches wide...not sure what size your Paw Patrol figures are.

Q: Does anyone know where you can buy the hissy toy that is not included in this play set?

You can buy a 6 piece figure set on Amazon (Hissy. I think it's $24.00. Bob, A.R.F., Bingo, Rolly, Hissy and Rufus/Cupcake are included in it. I'm sure they're small enough to use on this play set.

It depends on the mentality and or thier imagination, I bought it for a 2 year old that was obsessed with puppy pals, the 4 year old I take care of had no interest in it.

Q: Does it need batteries

No. My granddaughter is going to love it!
