I'm not afraid to take on any household repairs that I can do myself. All too often, I'd find myself in a situation where I needed to reattach this thing back to that thing but the only "joiner" I had on hand was glue or epoxy. Always seemed to me a riveter would be great to have. So...I haven't yet had a need for this tool but I've tested it on a few materials and have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at how solid and robust this thing is. One of my tests (for an upcoming project) was to rivet a cover back onto a piece of equipment in the shop. Using the smallest rivets that came with the set, I think riveting is going to work well. Punch the needed "pilot holes"... pop one of the smallest rivets into the tool... give the handle a squeeze or two... done. Cover is back in place and seems like it's not going anywhere.As mentioned, this is my first foray into riveting and maybe there are top-of-the-line riveters available that put this one to shame, but for the home DYIer, I'd say this one is great.

This rivet kit is a game changer as it comes with 4 different sizes and also came with 25 nails per size which makes it easy to work with different size projects. I got this to work on a project and these 25 rivets are more than enough and worked great. It is simple and intuitive design allows you for quick installation of the rivet even in tight spaces. I used it onl;y for furniture, but looks like it could work for other metal and work. The kit came in a nice storage box helps you to organize everything back after the work.The only downside is it limits to only 4 sizes and you are in a need of a special size, you may need to purchase them separetly. Its a great kit ideal for DIYers and save a lot of money.

For $24 this manual rivet tool is expensive. The tool is solid but a little short so it has a hard time on large rivet size (such as 3/16.) Included are 4 adapter head for 4 different size rivet, 100 rivets of different sizes and a hard plastic case.

I have never used a rivet tool before. With that being said, I found this tool easy to use. It comes with four different sized heads so you can use it for many different things. You simply unscrew the head to replace it with a different size for your specific needs. I used it to hold up some facet that was coming loose. It also comes in a carrying case to keep the tool, heads and included rivets together

I restore classic European cars and motorcycles and I also have an Airstream so there is always something that need a new rivet. For that reason, I set out to find a good rivet gun. I saw this one while browsing Amazon and thought it looked like a good value. I liked the fact that it came with a case and an assortment of rivet and rivet gun heads. I used this on restoring my work bench and it worked well. Best thing is that I could put it all back in the case until the next use.

Compared to other top-of-the-line models, this one lacks a pivoting head. This rivet gun is compact and durable and comes with a nice case and various rivets of different sizes. Rivet work sometimes comes up as a surprise, so having an assortment is nice.Unless you try to force a rivet larger than the maximum size into the gun, this rivet gun will outlast your need for it. A model with a pivoting head can be helpful to get in tight areas, but this should address most needs at half the price.

The first red flag is the case. The red latch has no fastener on one side, the plastic is simply not molded and it will just fall off every time. Okay, no worries, the case was a bonus. Well when I set my first river, after popping off the tip, the stem remained lodged in the teeth of the gun. I cannot dislodge it. This gun is out of order for me. Honestly, but one of these locally, this one is too cheap quality.
