I was honestly surprised because it was easier to install than I expected. The screen looks great and is very responsive to touch. I have this installed on my Jeep Wrangler base model with a regular stereo. I tucked the wires behind the console (removing console was easy) and have the wires neatly tucked away. I'm using the AUX option and the sound is decent. Not the loudest or clearest, but pretty dang decent for the price I paid for this. The picture is good - not the best, but again... for the price, it's pretty good. Sometimes I won't get any audio connection and I have to do a "reset" on the unit, but it's quick and easy and I get sound back. Another glitch I found is if I go into reverse and the backup camera activates before my phone connects, I have to restart/unplug and plug the unit's power for it to connect or I get the forever circle of death. Otherwise, it's been operating fairly well for how reasonably priced this unit is and does the job well - delivering GPS and music on a bigger screen - opposed to always depending on my phone. Update May 2026: the “no audio” issue is now more consistent and I have to factory reset the unit every time I get in my vehicle. It’s getting cumbersome. I have emailed the seller to see if they would honor the 2yr warranty. Conclusionary review pending. The seller has 100% positive feedback, so we’ll see what the outcome will be.

Its a good item and works as intended. My problems with it are that it gets hot too easily and starts glitching when hot for extended periods. It is a small screen and it doesnt automatically dim. It doesnt save any of the changes you do on the device if you accidentally unplug it. But overall not a bad device

I didn’t want to deal with ripping out my dashboard just to get modern features, so I gave this portable CarPlay screen a try, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The whole setup took maybe 10 minutes tops: mount it, plug it in, connect your phone once, and it basically runs itself after that. Every time I start the car, it reconnects automatically which makes it feel way more “built-in” than I expected. CarPlay runs smoothly for everyday stuff like maps, music, and calls, and I’ve been using it daily without issues. I especially like using voice control so I’m not constantly reaching for my phone while driving. The screen is responsive and clear enough for navigation, and having everything on a bigger display just makes driving easier overall. What really sold me is how flexible it is; you can route audio however you want (Bluetooth, AUX, etc.), and the mirror feature is a nice extra when you want it. It’s not perfect, the screen can be a little harder to see in super bright sunlight, but for the price and convenience, that’s easy to overlook. If you have an older car and want CarPlay without spending hundreds on a full install, this is such a simple, worthwhile upgrade.

I had high hopes for this wireless carplay screen but it is just a marginal product. The screen is hard to see in the day when I use one most. The directions by voice seem to skip and is not very good. I have tried the display at night and is a little bit better.

Bought this for my old rv that didn’t have CarPlay, and it works exactly as I hoped. Setup was pretty straightforward, and my phone connects automatically when I start the car. The screen is clear, responsive, and makes navigation and music so much easier!
