M-Wave Battery protective case E-Protect

I received this item today for my carrera Vulcan e bike 2020 model. It’s a tight fit but I’ve decided to keep it as a can see it will fit properly in time. Most importantly protects the battery from cold, dirt and scratches.. looks smart to..!! 😎 🤘🏼

I bought this because another reviewer said it fitted the battery on a Carrera Subway E “perfectly”. The must have a different battery to me, because it doesn’t fully cover mine. It’s about 2 cm too short to fit over the top of the battery (model EPB30A093C1) , just not quite reaching the top recessed part of the battery moulding. Also the notch for the key slot is on the wrong side. If you’re not too bothered about covering the top of the battery though, it does fit snugly over the terminal end where the battery clips into the frame, which is the important part to protect, so it’s good enough to keep until I can find something that completely fits over a Subway battery.

It's a very snug fit but I like the way that it protects my e-bike battery from the elements. I also like the fact that it can stay on permanently because it doesn't obscure the charging connectors.You do have to be careful when fitting the battery to the bike so that it doesn't impede the connecting points on the bike.

The cover I received did not fit my Bosch 500 power pack, it was too short in length and the seams were sewn all wrong the key cut out was on the wrong side, I could go on. Seems to me that it was manufactured to fit other batteries such as the Shimano and others. It was Returned.I purchased the slightly more expensive Fahrer akku cover and by contrast it fits the Bosch battery perfectly, the old adage (You only get what you pay for) holds true.

Not fully satisfied, not waterproof,

Protects the bike battery on and off the bike from any damage, also good protection in cold or hot weather.

Used on carrera e bike

I have a new Carrera Crossfuse with the Bosch Active Line Plus crank drive powered by the Bosch 400 Powerpack.This perfect fitting cover will not only help keep the battery clean and fairly dry, but the extra insulation should keep the battery operating at its peak during the colder months.It’s true you could probably achieve a similar level of insulation using an old sock, but it wouldn’t look as good.One star lost because of the cost - a more complex shaped neoprene knee support can be picked up cheaper for instance.

Fait parfaitement sur une batterie Shimano, bonne qualité.

Gute Passform. Ich würde den Schutz wieder kaufen.
