I bought the 8-1/2" x 11" model. Initially I thought it would work well with just a graphic printed on a transparency, but the lighting beneath it was too strong and washed out the graphic. The solution is to either print the graphic on plain paper, or to place a piece of paper underneath a graphic printed on a transparency. The lighting comes through the whole surface and is very bright. Each side of the frame is hinged and swings up to replace or reposition the graphic. The rear has two wires, which I assume are for hanging. The instructions talk about "keyholes" for mounting, but there are no keyholes, just two wires, which you can see in the product listing.
