A Game-Changer for Gut Health!
I have been on a quest to find the perfect probiotic supplement, and I'm thrilled to say that I've found my holy grail in the Garden of Life Raw Probiotics Ultimate Care. This 100 billion CFU powerhouse is not only shelf-stable but also boasts clinically studied strains and digestive enzymes, making it an absolute game-changer for both men and women. One of the most impressive features of this probiotic supplement is its high potency. With 100 billion CFUs per capsule, you can be confident that you're giving your gut the ultimate care it deserves. This high count ensures that a significant number of beneficial bacteria reach your digestive tract, where they can work their magic. The fact that it's shelf-stable and doesn't require refrigeration is a huge plus. It's incredibly convenient for travel or simply keeping in your pantry without worrying about storage limitations. The capsules are easy to swallow, and the 30-capsule supply offers a full month of gut-nourishing goodness. What sets this probiotic apart is the inclusion of clinically studied strains. Garden of Life doesn't compromise on quality, and this supplement contains strains that have been rigorously researched and proven to be effective in supporting digestive health. Whether you're dealing with occasional digestive discomfort or want to maintain a healthy gut, these strains have got you covered. The addition of digestive enzymes is a brilliant touch. These enzymes help break down food more effectively, allowing your body to absorb nutrients with ease. I've noticed a significant reduction in bloating and gas since starting this supplement, and I feel more energized after meals. As a woman, I also appreciate that this probiotic is suitable for both men and women. It's great to have a product that's inclusive and meets the unique needs of both genders. In summary, the Garden of Life Raw Probiotics Ultimate Care is a top-tier probiotic supplement that delivers on its promises. It's the ultimate solution for anyone looking to improve their gut health, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Give it a try, and you'll experience the positive changes in your digestion and overall well-being. Highly recommended!

Still active despite August heat
EDIT: I’m hijacking the most helpful review for this product to ask why these have more than doubled in price over the past 3 months. I have been taking these probiotics daily for more than 3 years. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease 25 years ago. I do not take any other medication for that condition. I had a colonoscopy in September 2023, and the doctor said I had no signs of Crohn’s. I haven’t taken any other medication for it in the past 5-7 years. For that time I took them, each bottle was approximately $32. Beginning in October 2023, the price jumped to over $70 a bottle. Now they are about $80. I understand things happen, but I think we deserve an explanation as to this pricing change and a reply as to if they are expected to return to their normal price. Did a factory burn down? Was the company sold to the manufacturers of insulin? Is this part of a social experiment to see how far you can push the American consumer before they break? I truly believe these probiotics changed my life. I would appreciate a response. ORIGINAL REVIEW- Aug. 2020 So let's settle this once and for all. Are the probiotics still alive after being delivered hot? Test: These are labeled as shelf-stable and were NOT delivered with a cold pack. I used an infrared thermometer to test the temperature as soon as I brought it in the house. It read 95 degrees. I suspect that the bottle had been subjected to midsummer heat for approximately 48 hours during delivery (shipped Monday night, delivered Thursday afternoon). I opened a capsule into a small glass of milk to test its effectiveness at 6 pm. By 8 am the following morning, this was the result. The bacteria are definitely is still alive and active even after being subjected to near 100-degree heat for a couple days. Effectiveness: I have Crohn's and struggle with frequent and unpredictable urges to go to the restroom. I've been taking this probiotic exclusively for about 3 months, and I can say it has improved my symptoms tremendously. It began improving the way I felt within a week and began making serious improvements to symptoms after about 6 weeks or so. I have gone from 3-4 bathroom trips per day to going no more than once a day, usually every couple days. And none of those trips have been unpredictable or emergency situations. It has improved the consistency and greatly improved my quality of life. Price: At about $1.20 per capsule/day, it's definitely worth it for the result. This is the first time I've purchased them from Amazon, as I was worried about the bacteria being killed in the heat. I previously have purchased from GNC where they were sold for nearly $60/bottle. They price-matched Amazon, but this shows the markup there and the deal offered by ordering online. I have been prescribed VSL#3 by my GI dr., and those did very well for me. However, the script has expired, they are more expensive, and the capsules need to be kept refrigerated. Conclusion: Great for IBS/IBD/Crohn's/Colitis, best price available, and proof the product isn't being harmed during delivery. The only non-prescription probiotic with 100 billion cultures, more than 30 strains, for a reasonable price. Going forward, I will still store them in the fridge and will test one capsule upon delivery to ensure that bottle's effectiveness. If they fail, I will request a refund or replacement.

I’ve been a loyal user of Garden of Life products and purchased 5 bottles of this raw probiotic on 28 Apr 2025. I stored all bottles in my refrigerator from day one, even though the packaging clearly states “No refrigeration required.” I finished the first 2 bottles without issue. But when I opened a new one, I was horrified to see that the contents were badly oxidized and blackened. I opened the remaining 2 bottles and found one more bottle also oxidized, while the last one appeared normal. This is incredibly disappointing and concerning. I followed storage instructions and even went above and beyond by refrigerating, yet still ended up with contaminated or compromised product. I trusted this brand for quality and stability, clearly something went wrong in manufacturing or packaging. Will not be repurchasing.
