Ok, I guess.
So they work in so far as they definitely make popsicles/ice lollies, are sturdy, survived the dishwasher etc. But there were a few issues though.The fact that they can be very difficult to get out of the moulds is annoying, easily fixed with running them under warm water I know I know - but lets be honest, when you're trying to persuade yourself that you'd rather have a measly orange lolly for your pudding than six Curly Wurlys or a box of Mr Kipling Angel Cake slices, having to mess about in the kitchen with it for ten minutes just becomes a faff that no one has time for in 2018, and an extra excuse to reach for the chocolate in it's gloriously easy-to-open wrapper. Perhaps the most annoying problem for me though is the residing taste of silicone - I washed the moulds several times and still get that same, weird, stale kind of taste that I can't exactly describe, but it reminds me a lot of when you accidentally drink from a 2 week old bottle of water. Also I'd say they are too large. As previously mentioned we made orange lollies, and you just could not put a dent in them - mine lasted me a whole episode of Pointless (including time spent pausing the TV to think of the answers/admire Richard Osman), and frankly that just an absurd amount of time on the lolly consumption scale. Don't get me wrong, I love an orange lolly as much as the next person but good God man. I was looking for a ten minute tipple, not an hour and 45 minutes of silicone flavoured orange and a very numb tongue.Overall it's a 2/5 from me - will stick to Calippos.
