I have used this product for 2+ years. It has been consistent in quality and reliability. It is not cheapest out there and like everything price increases. Because of that I don’t take recommended amount. I started with one a day, I noticed a difference in energy and mood. Maintaining that dosage makes it something I can maintain.

This is THE BEST vitamin D I have ever used because I could absorb it. I was NEVER able to take D before even though I had a measured deficiency. They all made me gain weight! This one did not. And my levels are now in normal optimal range.

Can anyone really tell if this helps them??? Having said that I can say that my knees don't seem to bother me nearly as much as they did. Is it because of these pills or not? That is the $64,0000 question. Some of the little aches and pains seem to have subsided also but who knows why. If I could link the reduction of maladies to these pills I would have given it 5 stars but I can't prove these really helped. I continue to take one a day and will have my vitamin d levels checked again to see if they have bumped up. I guess for most people you just have to try and see if you notice any differences. A word of warning to those on blood thinners. These do have vitamin k, which is a blood clotting agent so you better check with your doctor before you take this and blood thinners. UPDATED 1-26-19; I've been using these since 2014 and I will say that they definitely work. After a year my Vit-D levels went from 20-25 up to 45. I backed off for a few months and my vit-d levels dropped back to 25. After starting back up again my level went back to 45 after a few more months. I've done this a couple of times and my level always goes back up when I take one capsule a day. The end result is that they do work for me. Does getting your vit-d level up really help. Who knows! The longer I take these the older I get and the more I feel like a old man. Maybe I would feel worse if I didn't take these but I'm not willing to take the chance.

This would be 5 stars if it was not so pricey. Other than that - it is perfect. I have read his articles and appreciate that this contains the necessary K. Something you must take if you are adding D. My daughter was diagnosed as severely deficient. Using this formula she is feeling better and I appreciate the quality of this supplement. Just wish it was a little more affordable.

After 2 years of suffering, i finally went to the Dr. because I was suffering from fatigue, muscle weakness and pain severe joint pain in my shoulders, elbows and my feet just about made me crippled. I seriously thought if they don't find out what's wrong with me, I'm going to be disabled and in a wheelchair within a couple years. I'm 49. The Dr. did bloodwork and reffered me to a specialist to test me for ossible autoimmune disorders such as MS, RA and Fibromialsia. My blood work came back with a vitamin D level of 11.I went to the specialist and he ordered a slew of tests that would cost me over 1,000 in Co pays. Specialist also briefly mentiined my D level and said I newded to get that under control. A few days after my appointment I saw an infomercial for this product so I ordered 2 bottles. By the end of those 2 bottles ALL OF MY SYMPTOMS WERE GONE!!!!! I felt no more pain. I had energy again and I could think more clearly.I swear by this product and It has been a game changer for me. If it cost $100 a bottle, I would still buy it.BTW, I never went back to the specialist and had all those expensive tests done.

I once had a Vitamin D level of too low to measure. I believe that this is the very best Vitamin D product on the market. I read everything on the market at the time of the zero Vitamin D level. I made some mistakes because no one would help me. But, now, Dr. Cannell is my expert of choice. Dr. Cannell has a website and a way you can get a test that you collect yourself and mail in. If you live near the equator and spend a lot of time in the sun you may not need this. The further north you live, it is more likely. I believe you should get a test. I have had tests ordered by physicians that were ordered incorrectly and done by labs that are not any good. I actually find the test that Dr. Cannell recommends to be the only one I trust.

I just realized this contained magnesium stearate. It is advertised as vegetable stearate. I was very disappointed to see that it contains magnesium stearate. I would like a complete refund from the seller as I cannot ingest cottonseed oil as it is an xenoestrogenic and defeats the purpose of me taking Vitamin D3. This supplement wasn't cheap. I expect better!Cottonseed oil has the highest content of pesticide residues of allcommercial oils; cotton crops are heavily sprayed. In thehydrogenation process, the oil is subjected to high heat and pressurein the presence of a metal catalyst for several hours, creating ahydrogenated saturated fat. Hydrogenated vegetable fats containaltered molecules derived from fatty acids that may be toxic. Themetal catalyst used in the hydrogenation process may also contaminatethe stearates produced (see Erasmus, Fats and Oils).While toxicity is one problem, decreased absorption is another.
