Luxurious ride
This is my second pair of Brooks Glycerin 21s. Brooks recently replaced it with the 22 and the 21s are already becoming hard to find in my size, so I bought these even though I don't need them at the moment. As a 65 year old who runs 40+ miles a week, I need to baby my legs. I've found that this is the absolute best shoe for me and my running, most of which is done between 9:00-11:00 minutes per mile. I have over 700 miles on my first pair of Glycerin 21s, so durability is not a problem. When I put them up against these, it's clear that the foam midsole has broken down and so they need to be replaced, but they literally look brand new. The outer sole is very durable, as are the uppers. I single knot them when I run and they never come untied. The ride is certainly plusher than the Ghost, and the weight difference is not enough to notice for a runner like me. All in all, the Glyercin 21 is the perfect trainer. I love them and highly recommend them.

Long lasting outsoles!
I purchased this shoe in Beige color couple months ago and I really liked it a lot!On par with NB 1080v13 and Hoka Clifton 9,with one big difference!Brooks is better build quality and more importantly I believe the outsoles will outlast the Hoka and New Balance!I already have 125 miles on the first pair(Brooks) and I can barely see signs of wear! Both the Hoka and NB 1080's had visible signs of wear before 100 miles! I'll place all 3 shoes in same category for comfort, fit and pricing but I definitely choose the Brooks Glycerin 21 for longevity and upper build quality! Incidentally I purchased the White/Grey colorway this time and it's very clean!Maybe,my new go to shoe!No running,I walk 7 miles every day!

Husband approved as a loyal Glycerin 20 wearer
My husband is chief engineer at a hotel and is on his feet ALL day on concrete floors - clocks 10 miles some days. He's over 50 and needs good shoes for support and comfort. I can't tell you the $ we have spent on shoes trying to find ones that work for him that will last. Landed on Brooks about 4 years ago and have only bought Brooks since. He had been loyal to the 20's but they have been getting harder to find in his size in the colors that would work. We saw some reviews where people noticed a difference between the 20 vs 21's and were unhappy. Some mentioned the toe box being different. We bought his favorite 20's (in a color that would not have worked well but was all they had) and these 21's. He put them both on at the same time and couldn't feel an immediate difference. So we kept the 21's to see how they do. So far so good, no complaints and he says they feel like the 20's to him. Glad we tried them (had been holding out because of some reviews) - now there are more options in his size - and they are even at a lower price.

Comfortable
Last year I went to a local shoe store to find some new breatheable shoes that would be comfortable for work, I decided on a pair of sketchers that I liked but having them for less than a few weeks I noticed my foot already in pain. So I decided to get show inserts and that worked well, so I decided to get a few more. Well it has been a year now and I still have a few pairs of those but I was tempted to find something better for my feet. I did tons of research and came across Brooks Glycerin 21 to try out. I work in a warehouse for ten hour shifts on hard floors. So was tempted to not only find something breathable but also more comfortable. I chose a wide 9 shoe for my brooks and I so far am happy to say they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned in my life! So this week is my first week I will be wearing them to work to give them the real rest and I will update! I also was tempted to try the newer glyercine 22 but I figured there was so much good reviews on the 21 and it was cheaper, I would try it first. Eventually when the 23 comes out I will get the 22 on sale and try it! I also read the brooks ghost max 2 is comfortable but it's mainly good for a run than take a break from them, these glycerin 21 I read are good for on your feet all day so we shall see! Overall so far I'm impressed on the fit, the quality, the comfort!

Best running shoes I’ve owned
Hands down the best running shoes I’ve ever worn. I have over 2500 kilometers logged in Nike Run Club & have owned well over a dozen pairs of running shoes. I’m 6’2” 235 lbs and run 5Ks recreationally and competitively. The impact resistance/cushion is excellent and they fit perfectly. They also seem to be very well constructed/durable. Would absolutely recommend to heavier runners

Good shoe
The cushioning is amazing. My times have improved slightly due simply to my feet not hurting from foot strike. Why only 4 stars? In the right shoe the seam between the tongue and the shoe has a very hard seam that was irritating the top of my foot.Unlacing the shoe and trimming with a box cutter has mostly fixed the issue.

Great walking shoes.
So good for walking. Lots of padding in the heels. Plenty wide. Shoelaces stay tied!! I paid a little more than I usually do for shoes but these were well worth the additional cost. Very very comfortable! I absolutely love them. And they have worn very well. The sole is pretty flat. Good on streets and sidewalks. I will buy another pair when these wear out. I walk 4 miles a day in them! Get a pair!!!

Great for casual wear
Given the added padding in the sole it’s certainly comfortable for longer day walks and activities, stays snug to the outer foot so doesn’t loosen up throughout the day.If there’s a preference for a loosen feel and ability to move your toes after putting the shoe on this may not be the best fit. Overall great look on casual wear and basic movement not for high intensity spots.
