Different but cool experience
I have been looking into AR glasses for a few years and finally decided to buy a pair. These are a different kind of cool and everyone is wowed when they try them on. They are very easy to use, just plug and play basically. The sound is amazing and clear with no leakage to where others can hear and they are light weight on the nose and ears.

A must have if you have multiple uses for it.
⭐ Rokid AR Glasses Review — Real-World ImpressionsInstant Connectivity & Immersive DisplayRight out of the box, the Rokid AR glasses connect seamlessly to your phone, transforming it into a crisp, vibrant viewing experience. The OLED screens deliver excellent 1080p resolution with impressive contrast and color depth. Watching 3D SBS content feels cinematic — no flickering, just immersive visuals.Audio Performance: Quiet but CapableThe built-in speakers are underwhelming in volume. In-ear headphones are highly recommended, especially since they fit comfortably without interfering with the glasses’ arms. Audio can be decent in dark, quiet settings like camping nights where sound carries better — but daytime or noisy environments demand headphones.Desktop Setup & CablingFor desktop use, you’ll need a unidirectional HDMI to USB-C 3.2 adapter, plus a power source. While Rokid offers their own adapter, a $15 third-party one worked flawlessly. High-performance cables matter:- Use USB-C 3.2 or higher (20Gbps minimum; 100W recommended).- Ideal: USB-C 3.2 cables rated at 40Gbps/240W for max stability.Power Delivery & Charger TipsEnsure your power supply delivers at least 65W when powering both the AR glasses and charging your phone. Even if 65W isn’t strictly necessary, the extra wattage prevents overheating and ensures reliable performance.DIY Prescription Lens InsertCustomizing the insert is simple and cost-effective:- Use a $15 lens insert.- Drill with 1.4mm diamond bits (wet drilling recommended).- Shape the lens with sandpaper and align it using the template for proper centering.Design & WearabilityThey might look unusual, but they surprisingly suit an oval-shaped face. Lightweight and well-balanced — stylish enough if you're into futuristic aesthetics.Final Thoughts & Warranty RecommendationOLED screens behave like lightbulbs — brilliant, but with limited lifespan. If you plan on daily use, opt for the extended warranty. It’s a smart investment for peace of mind.Updated: I get like white noise flashes when I move my head sideways like the USB C port is going to got bad. I am keeping and eye on it to see if it gets worse. The audio was set to privacy mode but was improved once I reconnected it and it sound nice. The white noise didn't happened again, it was when I used the AR while on a video call, the phone was hot. Dring down the phone screen to dark so it saves battery plus you don't need the phone screen to be bight when you are using the AR glasses.I made my own lens with the help of the template and diamond drill bits of 1.4mm. Shape it up with a sandpaper roll for the dremel.

Pretty cool item.
I bought these thinking they were VR glasses but instead I realize they are AR glasses. I didn’t think the images were crisp enough for playing video games but they are definitely nice for watching videos from your phone or tablet. The glasses blow up the image very nicely. They have both brightness & volume control one one arm of the glasses. I wore them for probably 4-5 hrs straight without any eye strain or issues. Plug & play works flawlessly. I’d definitely buy them again & recommend them

First generation is better
There is no difference between this and the first generation. The screen is exactly the same there is no difference in size, contrast, color, anything. This is useless and definitely not worth the price.

They would be great if the app was still supported
I'm using voice to text to do this so bear with me. Do not buy this generation of these glasses they no longer have American support on the app cannot use them as AR glasses without app supportUpdate I was contacted by the seller directly and they have presented me an option to make right with the product. Because of my dissatisfaction they've decided to send me a unit that will work. As soon as I get the station unit I will further update this review, I don't feel like it is the seller's fault that the product app did not work for me.

Excellent Picture Quality
l have been pretty impressed with how useful it's been in my daily life. It's nice and light weight and easily put in my backpack and go. Picture having a monitor or a big screen TV while moving through your normal day. l can just lay back and have whatever is on my phone or TV mirrored. No more neck strain.
