I've been using the pen for a couple of weeks and its not bad. It has some weight to it. Good checkering for a good non slip grip, the glass breaker is actually sharp (I have not broken any glass with it but have drawn blood on myself by accident) but as a self defense tool it will definitely make a mark and make someone think twice. It writes well. Maybe not as smooth as a cross pen but well. Im happy with this pen and may buy a couple more. Definitely worth the purchase. Thanks

Great service. And is of great quality. I had purchased this pen to replace a much more expensive one that I had lost. This pen is every bit as good as the other one at a third of the price. Very happy with the quality and the waterproof notepad plus all the refills for the ink. Would definitely recommend.

The pens write wonderfully. They have some weight to them but very nice otherwise. The glass breaker has a very sharp point so remember it is a twist pen and not a click pen. Lol

These are some great pens, work well and built tough, but I've got to be honest they scare me a little bit -- those ends are SHARP! I could easily imagine someone accidentally stabbing themselves in the hand or poking an eye out (I am serious!). These well made heavy pens could serve equally well as an instrument of self defense or an emergency escape tool. Includes enough replacement ink cartridges to last for several years or more and the little notebooks are great for anyone who has to keep any kind of record or tally book in severe weather. All things considered these are a great value. Just don't hurt yourself.

It's not too big nor heavy for my girly hands. But the window breaker points are too sharp and dangerous to clip on your pocket.
