Old men's shoes but does what it promises
I'm getting over the hill. How else can you explain my buying slip-on trainers, which my partner describes as "old men's shoes"? Fact is that with titanium rods in my ankles I'm not running or jumping anywhere, so I choose leisure footwear for general mooching around and walking the dog, largely for comfort rather than looks or labels. These factors informed my decision to buy a pair of Skecher's lightweight slip-ons. I have a pair of elastic-sided slippers too, the most comfortable I ever bought, so applying the same logic to leisure footwear seemed logical.Admittedly, they masquerade as lace-ups, but the clue is in the elastic-sided fit. The look is appealing, mimicking running shoes, but the clever bits are in the sole and heel. The marketing blurb on the box declares them to be "air cooled" (I had visions of oxygen tanks attached to both calves pumping air through the shoes, but basically it means a porous upper) and, importantly, "memory foam" plus a very springy layer.I'm not a fan of marketing but the shoe is undeniably lightweight, an excellent fit and supremely comfortable - and that is what matters. I doubt they will cope well in adverse weather and muddy conditions, but judicious use should see this pair through a good lifetime.

Good luck getting your feet in.
I don't have a real lot to say about these trainers, I wanted to like them but never got the chance.I don't consider myself to have wide feet and I've been a size 9 UK for as long as I can remember, well in excess of 20+ years. These trainers were a nightmare, they aren't the prettiest trainers but I wanted something comfatible for walks. When these turned up I just couldn't for the life of my get my feet anywhere close to getting them in.I even bought a shoe horn to try aid me but no joy so I returned them as there is not way of slackening them. They either fit or they don't it seems.Hope this breif review helps in some way.Stay safe.

Skechers memory foam trainers, for my money the best you can buy
This is my second pair of Skechers memory foam trainers. The first pair I have worn so much that I have worn through the foam at the ball of my foot and the heel, and while they were still wearable it did slightly affect the comfort so I replaced them. These are just as good, if not better, than the first pair. They appear laced but are slip-on with tabs at the instep and heel to help pull them on, and once on they are a good snug fit.The soles are so comfortable it almost defies belief, your feet nestled in squidgy memory foam that is comfortable and supportive all at once.I would point out that the trainers themselves are largely a kind of mesh construction - this makes them extremely lightweight and airy but they will be far from waterproof.

They are a good looking trainer very comfortable, my husband has three pairs now and loves them .
My Husband is a Italian leather Loafer fan, I had never seen him in a pair of trainers. I purchased 2 prs. of Sketchers trainer to see if he would like them and he does. So when I saw the red pr., in the same style I purchased those they were a gift for Father’s Day he loves them. The bonus is that they are slip ons with bungee laces , a very comfortable foot bed with arch support and a very attractive profile. I’m looking for the same style but in a Royal blue or French Navy hope I can find a pr to fit the bill. They do look stylish too.

Comfort and quality
Extremely comfortable and pretty light. I've worn other sketchers and similar products. All are comfortable and light, but I feel these have an edge when it come to the build quality. Others within weeks they feel the fabrics and grip wearing off. I've been wearing these for a few weeks now, they still feel new. No sign of quality wearing off. Also another plus, I wore these before and during the Christmas period were it became freezing cold. These held well, and did a wonderful job of keeping my feet warm.

Sketchers 52640
As with my other pairs of Sketchers, these fit well and as expected. They are the most comfortable trainers I have ever found and this style is very easy to wear with the slip on fit. They are comfortable all day and do not loosen during activity. I am pleased I got them.I have had a problem with Plantar Fasciitis and Sketchers make it possible for me to keep going all day with minimum discomfort.

Job for a shoehorn .
Feel great when you've got them on and i think they look good but before you send for them get a shoe horn .There's a loop at the front on the top of the tongue, its not needed ,But believe me it should of been on the heel . That is where it's needed . Yet on the trainers with laces it's the other way round .Designers hey what do they know .

Great Fit!
I only just got these the other day and so far they are very comfy! I got these especially for the Gym for when they reopen in April due to Covid. So they will be indoor shoes only, I have worn them inside only to break them in and they are good so far! After a few months of use, I will update my review!
