Basically ordinary diamond
Looks way better in person. Just like real diamond. The size of everything is perfect. If youre going to retail diamond stores youre literally volunteering to throw away money. Also dont wear this if you dont like attention because youre going to be taking peoples boy/girl friends

MOISSANITE IS NOT LAB DIAMOND
UPDATE: I also got the green (really cyan) version of these, and the review is basically the same except for the fact that folks need to know what they're talking about before they flame a review. When a pair of earrings is listed as 1ct, or 2ct, or whatever, that's TOTAL WEIGHT, so each ear would be half that much. A GRA certificate is also for ONE STONE, not a pair. There's a unique serial number on it that should match the stone. Thus, if you have 1ct earrings, your GRA cert should say .5ct, and for a 2ct pair, the GRA should say 1ct. You should just have TWO if both of the stones are going to be certified. If you want to flame them for sending one cert when you should have two, then you'd have a point. Flaming them for shorting you on the carat weight ain't it, though. Also - for the record, a half-carat stone, as is listed for the red and green versions, isn't 6.5mm. A carat is 6.5mm, and a half-carat is in the neighborhood of 5mm. END UPDATE Period. Full stop. Calling it that is a big, fat whopper. And it's extra annoying because there's no need to call it that - moissanite is a lovely stone that has value (visual and fiscal) in its own right. It's also not okay, though, because for equivalent carat weight in actual lab diamonds, you can expect to add a zero and go up from there. Normally this would be a 3-star review for that alone, BUT these folks also clearly disclose that they're using cz for the accent stones. I would like it to be louder and more often, but I review at least 2 or 3 pieces a week that just... don't mention the side stones. I know full well they're not moissanite, but they're hoping you make that assumption. Extra credit for the honesty there gets us back up to at least 3.5ish, which will round up to 4 stars. The earrings themselves? No complaints. They're stamped 925 on the posts and backs, and nothing reacts to a magnet. Remember how I said I know full well some stones aren't moissanite on other pieces? I know that because I test every single one that crosses my desk (well, that's big enough to fit the probe, which will go pretty small). The center stones, the only ones claimed to be moissanite here, pass the thermal tester with zero issues. (The accent stones do not, which should surprise no one since they're cz.) They're well constructed and the moissanites have nice fire. Thy arrive in heavy-gauge plastic bags to protect from tarnish, but you may want to remove those for presentation purposes. With any stud, but particularly with halo studs like this, I always recommend adding earring discs. You can get special support backs at varying price points, but I like to keep the correct backs with the earrings (as in the ones they came with), and plastic discs are dead cheap at maybe $5 for a pack of 50 or even 100. It's been a minute since I bought any since they last a while, even losing them occasionally, so I don't know exactly, but they're cheap at the price. Post earrings, all but the most lightweight, will droop if not properly supported in back, and the improvement in the look in the ear of heavier stones is staggering. It's a huge difference, especially at the price. Speaking of, at about $80 at time of review, these are well within a reasonable price range. As always, shop around.
