i have owned a boat for over 20 years and fish salt water around 30 times per year. The main headache used to be the havoc trailer on terrible LA roads and salt water would wreak on trailer lights. It was nothing for me to replace several sets per years.These lights put an end to that nightmare - big time!!! These are absolutely fantastic lights. The last set lasted me SIX YEARS. I don't even think about buying another brand. I abuse the heck out of them and they just keep on working.

I replaced both the left and right LED trailer lights for my Harbor Freight folding cargo trailer. These were easy to install and brighter than the lights that came with the trailer. I hope that these LEDs will end the obnoxious bulb and fuse replacement cycle I have been going thru with this cargo trailer.BUT, I would NOT install these lights on a BOAT trailer. These appear to be your basic "Made In China" lower quality LEDs. While the packaging and ad indicate that they are submersible, I see no difference between these and regular LED trailer lights. They do not look to be very well sealed and they are not bell-jar type lights. Bell jar lights put the bulb and electrics in a self draining air pocket. The seals on these eventually will fail under pressure from dunking during boat loading. Since there is no drain, water will eventually get trapped inside these lights. That water and condensation will corrode and eventually short the wiring and/or LEDs. Also of note, the wire-ends and connectors are obviously not marine rated -- at all. The wire ends are NOT tinned and the connectors are the simple automotive butt-end crimped type. For a truly water-proof connection, you will have to provide your own.Given that I am using these on only a cargo trailer, I will keep them, but if this was a boat trailer, they'd be going back.

Would have been 5 stars, but you have to buy right and left separately which I didn't notice in the small print. However, good bright lights work well on my trailer (not boat)

Just installed these lights on a Kendon Motorcycle trailer to replace troublesome standard lights. These are sealed from moisture, much brighter, and seem, to be well made. Entire job took a about 15 minutes. They appear to be the same lights that Kendon now sells as an upgrade for a lot more money. Great price from Amazon with free prime shipping.(Note: you will need 2 different lights the V840L for the license plate side and a V840 for the other side)

We changed out all the wiring and lighting on an 18' flatbed trailer. We decided to go with these LED's because the turn signal did not bulge out from the side of the main light housing (like most conventional lights do). We had a history of the turn signal being hit by the forklift during loading and unloading. This design is sleeker, and sits out of the way. Plus, the LED's look great!

I actually used this to switch out the tail light on my motorcycle. The bolt spacing was perfect and I now have a much much brighter tail/stop light with a much better seal from the elements that utilizes less power! I imagine it will do just as good for its intended purpose on a trailer (or any vehicle that utilizes external bolt on tail lights e.g. Jeeps, and many trucks etc.)!

compared to original equipment it looks great and it much brighter. was easy to install quick switch out of old light. the one side for the plate has a nice clear bright light for the plate. do watch for which one you need when you order.

Purchased these lights for my 14' trailer. Got tired of lights not working due to bulbs not making connection in the sockets. These lights fit exactly has the original lights and had ALL hardwire needed to do the job. Need to order left and right lights. The left has the clear plastic opening for the license plate. Great buy!!!
