Cut and trims nicely
I purchased this as a test to see how well it would work on my catamaran. I was pleasantly surprised as to how well it's doing after about a month or so of use. The installation was the most difficult part as creating the template took the most time. Transfering it to the faux teax was pretty simple and cutting and trimming, with just a pair of good scissors made for an easy fit. Prepping the surface was easy as well and I had no worries of placing this OVER the existin textured surface on my transom steps. I did a good soap and water wash, then followed up with a good acetone clean up. Once I had the faux teak in place, I simply walked on it for 5 minuts or so to ensure the adhesive really took to the step.Over the next month, I double checked the adhesion and it's still as good as it was done the first day. All of the edges are still nice and tight and I don't expect to see it peel back in the near future. Stains and dirt come off very easily. I did have some concerns a few days ago when I was loading up some heavy objects and I had to set them on the steps. Some of the corners did put some indents in to the faux teak, but didn't crack or tear the surface. As I hoped, over the next day, the dents expanded and popped back out and it looks norml again. I will be order few more rolls as I expect to do ALL of my transom steps as well as my cockpit floor. This is a great alternative to spending thousands on a profession installation and product and given we're in Mexico, a pretty simple DIY project.

A great way to refresh your boat!
My wife and I had those old snap-in carpets inside our boat and they were starting to look pretty rough. We wanted to replace those with something that would be less of a hassle. There were several videos online with pretty good instructions on how to install EVA flooring on YouTube and we figured that we'd give it a try. This EVA was pretty easy to work with and the color of all 3 rolls matched perfectly. Neither one of us had any experience doing this before, but it turned out pretty good. We just scrubbed the boat clean, used some acetone to clean up any residue, and sprayed down some 3M Hi-Strength Adhesive 90 to assist the adhesive backing of the EVA. I really think the 3M spray makes a big difference. The adhesive on the back of the flooring is decent, but the 3M spray is seriously strong. It did take us a pretty long time, about 14 hours to finish. It was worth it though and we are happy with the results.

Looked even better than in photos
I researched Eva boat flooring for a while and really couldn’t tell a difference from one brand to the other. In pictures it all looked the same. I picked this brand because of the reviews. I’m in NC this was shipped out of CA and took under a week to get it. When l opened the box and was honestly surprised with what it looked like. Pictures really don’t do it justice. The planks have a dimensional texture to it. Joint lines look good. I was really impressed. Since it comes in a roll l had to lay it flat before I used it on my boat floor. 24 hours later it was pretty flat except for the ends but wasn’t an issue. The adhesive was my biggest concern but it really seems to hold well. I have purchased 2 additional rolls for some other projects after using this product. Seems like it’s quality Eva flooringUpdate:I’ve noticed anything l drop on the flooring that has a hard edge makes a mark or cuts the flooring. My concern is things like wakeboard or kneeboards with the fins will easily damage the flooring. We’ll see long term how it holds up but the ease of damage worries me

Great product for the price.
It’s a bit hard to cut this stuff straight but I didn’t really care about that. The white parts in between is where I cut and it blended well with the white fiberglass that my bad lines weren’t too noticeable. It stick fairly well but my gheenoe has some weird angles and in some places water and sand get in and cause a little separation. I’ll just put glue in those spots when they pop up. I’ve had it installed now for about 4 months and have put lots of use in hrs conditions and it has held up well. Only one spot that has a lot of water flow and sand buildup has separated about 3 inches but it’s honestly an easy fix. Cleans ok. Helps on the feet. Glad I didn’t buy SeaDek when this did a plenty good job. I got the largest roll and cut everything myself and I’m not a pro at cutting and the material cuts not so good. I’m happy with the product.

Durability in question
I installed this on my boats swim platform. It looks great, the adhesion is perfect after 1 season in the salt water and sun. The one thing that MAY be an issue longer term is the durability. I noticed, when wet, I was tracking in what appeared to be a clay colored dirt into the boat. I quickly realized that the color of the foam seems to be coming off as a finer powder. SO far I do not see any types of fading, but I am always spraying the color off the boat.UPDATE: That mat still bleeds and makes a mess. Small adhesion issues at year 2. Would not use this product again. The constant clean-up is an issue.

Will definitely order again for future projects.
So far it's been a very good product. We have yet to see how it works in the sun and water. It seems to stick very well. Only giving it a four out of five stars because I only know how it initially works. The most difficult part of laying this down is how your boat is configured. I strongly recommend using templates then using those for your pattern. It does take patience, but it's worth it.

stay away!!!! This product is terrible!!!!
Doesn't stick down well. Started to disintegrate within several months. Always bleeds color. A total mess!!! I cannot over emphasize how bad it is and buyers of this type of product should BEWARE!!!! I spent a lot of money on these sheets of material. I also spent many hours making patterns for my boat deck and cutting them out by hand only to have the material literally dissolve in about 3 months. I am seeking a refund from Amazon. Do your homework when sourcing this type of material. This brand (MELORS) is total garbage!!!!! However I believe there are many similar cheaply made options out there which are basically the same stuff with different names. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
