Quality stakes
I have purchased several different sets of garden stakes this year. These are by far thicker, sturdier and a much better quality. Plus, this is the first set that sent a guide to show me how to connect for different types of support! That right there was a major help for me! I will eventually replace all the other sets with this brand.

I liked this product, especially compared to what you can get at a big box store
I bought this set to support some bush beans I had planted, and didn't like what I found in the big box stores. All items arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I was actually sent a couple extra parts by mistake! I really liked how I could make many different configurations with this set by combining the different parts. I can see using this with many different plants. I set up a 4-foot long inverted "V" shaped support for my bush beans, with horizontal supports for leaves, stems and beans created with the 2' stick sections and the clips provided. I might try using some garden netting with them next year as seen in a couple of pics on Amazon. I thought everything worked well. My plants were supported and I had a pretty good harvest. One small problem, though. Here in west Texas we had a VERY hot summer, and the heat combined with the weight of the plants made the clips slip on the sticks sometimes when the plastic coating got hot. I had to adjust the horizontal supports every once in a while because the clips would slip downward a bit. It wasn't a big deal, but it did happen, even though the sticks have a rough surface for the clips to grab on to; I would assume to prevent this from happening.

Helps hold my houseplants upright.
I needed something to help hold my growing houseplant upright, I have various size plans therefore I needed various size sticks. These are attachable so you can make longer support if needed. They blend in with the plants and are barely noticeable.

Worth the try
I purchased this kit along with a separate purchase of a 4’ kit (another vendor). I needed 7’ lengths to create the height for the vegetable arbor & compensate for the planters. All pieces went together very easily, I did use zip ties to secure the clips. Let’s see own this holds up to our Phoenix summers where temps can reach 110+.

Fragile, not functional for the intended purpose
Some stakes arrived severely bent, from what I believe was forcing them into the box. Connectors were packed loose at the bottom of box & probably the stakes got stuck & pushed into the box. That seemed to be enough stress to bend them. (Box looked intact & original, not a return) When trying to straighten them, they snapped like a toothpick. All of the bent ones! Sure enough, they revealed a very thin tubing, not capable of withstanding any pressure, of any kind. So forget pushing them into the ground, unless it's very loose soil. But then, even if successful, they will not support any kind of weight, like a large tomato/ cucumber plant. So what purpose do they serve then? Decorative? Not sure they could hold one stem of my tall lilies either, once they are top heavy with the blooms. I got them for tomato cages, not individual use. I purchased hundreds of steaks over the years, in ALL sizes, from 16" short, for holding the shape of my grow bags, to 6ft tall, for trellises, and still use them in the garden, 6-8 yrs later. These are by far the worst. I would absolutely return them if Amazon wouldn't make it such a hassle (not picking up the returns any more).

Works ok
These work ok but sometimes can't take extreme weather. The green coating tends to come off with cold or heat. We had some of these attached to our 5' fence to help hold up a 3 foot temporary plastic fencing to keep the deer out. Any time there was a good wind, they broke in two and eventually had to be replaced with something more sturdy. They are ok for tying tomatoes to or other vegetables. Just not great for fencing extensions. They were shipped promptly. Would I buy them again? Probably not. consider your needs. They may work fine for what you need.

THESE ARE A LOT SHORTER THAN THEY USED TO BE!
I had bought maybe six sets of these in the past - they were a great value because you have so many options. When I hit the 'buy again' button on Amazon to get two more sets, I should have looked more closely. These are just over half the size they used to be, making it so I now need two to do what one used to do, so it's no longer a good value. In my opinion, this was an unwise move on the part of the manufacturer as I won't be buying any more.

I was looking for something to support delphiniums, which vary in height, and these stakes are ideal. They come in 2ft lengths with connectors so can be extended as the plants grow, so there is no need to buy stakes of different lengths. They are a good colour to blend with the foliage and look much better than canes. Besides the tubular connectors, other types are supplied so that it is possible to build bean supports, wigwams etc. Really this is a versatile construction kit.

I used the parts to make trellises, I drilled 1/2 sockets into an existing wooden fence and made a trellis for morning glories which climbed on a plastic mesh (seperate purchase)
