Bright design, solid construction, loud beeps for alarms, great value
We use this for gaming! It’s easy to see the numbers and very handy when you have a lot of people around the table. It's also an excellent timer for Pomodoro productivity. The bright color is very handy and the beeping and alarm settings are quite loud for everyone. Recommended.

Gets it done ~
It's fine. I use it as a swimming timer at the base of my swim lane because I can't read the wall clock at my community pool. Works fine, good visibility, my only complaint is you can't turn it off. It apparently has it's own judgement around going into rest mode and then turning itself off. But as this is battery powered, I would rather be in control of on/off myself

Not just for kids
I've been using the Pomodoro method for years. I typically use a wind up timer. But I decided to take a chance on this one. This can truly help you in managing your tasks efficiently.Pros:• User-Friendly Interface: The clean and intuitive design makes it easy to set up work and break intervals without any hassle.• Customizable Sessions: You can adjust the length of work sessions and breaks to fit your personal workflow, which is great for tailoring the technique to your needs. I personally use 25 minutes and 5 minute breaks but it has several buttons for whatever you like.Cons:Really only one. But it's specific for me. I miss the ticking. I need the sound to put me back on task. I wish this had an option for ticking or not ticking. If you're looking to improve focus and productivity through structured work sessions. This timer can help in managing time effectively. Really. Just look up the Pomodoro method online and it'll change your world. I especially encourage parents to use it with their kids during homework time.

Great for Puzzling!
This is a wonderful little Pomodoro timer--"Pomodoro" is named for the technique--named for the tomato-shaped kitchen timers, the Pomodoro Technique is a way of breaking your tasks into smaller timed chunks, mixed with timed breaks and timed rest. It's a great method to use when you need to power through a task, chore, homework, etc that you maybe don't want to do--set the timer for 10 minutes, then take a short break. It helps to dig in when you know you'll get a break soon. The timer has 1, 5, 10, and 25 minute buttons, but you can tap them multiple times to get higher intervals, or to dial in the exact time you want: 25+10+5+3(pressing the 1m 3x)=43 minutes, for example. There's a small switch on the side to turn the alarm off--the sound is a typical digital alarm sound. It has magnets, a hanging clip, and a kickstand for various methods of displaying. This is perfect for us to see how long our puzzles take us!

Works great!
Great little timer! It can even be set to restart the last countdown without having to reset the time. So it’s great for things where you need a similar repeated try countdown time.I kind of wish it was rechargeable, instead of battery operated, but I haven’t had to change batteries yet, so I suspect the batteries will last a long time.Highly recommended!

Easy to use.
My daughter was struggling with focusing, so I ordered this timer to allow her the freedom to take more short breaks more often. She's 11yo and finds it easy to use.
